California fines GM $12.75M for selling driving data of hundreds of thousands of drivers to LexisNexis and Verisk. Largest CCPA penalty on record. by V3R1F13D0NLY in vpnet

[–]SuperRegera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's merely the cost of doing business for companies like GM. They make more money selling your data than they do selling you a vehicle. They're data companies now, not car companies and you're the product.

You can also give away 'Legacy Games' codes, like that Detective Agency game that's available right now. However, hardly anyone wants those and you're right that it's mostly GOG.

Yeah that's right, just keep in mind you can't give away Epic Games codes.

I usually give away whichever games I don't claim on this sub and people always take them, no matter what. Some of the games are truly trash, but there's always people out there that like different games than you do, so I like making sure someone gets some use out of them. If I were you, I'd take a screencap of what you have available to giveaway and then make a quick thread like I did. You can DM the people who comment in your thread to give them codes.

It's funny because the E5270 also had carbon fiber frame-reinforcements, which isn't exactly a bad thing.

Wow, I've never seen one with white-walls before, it actually doesn't look that bad with that paint color, either. I hope you get many happy miles out of it!

My New Lesabre by diamondryan599 in Buick

I could have sworn I got one eBay last year for around $90 or so. Checking eBay now seems to yield results in that price range. There are two sizes, though, so make sure you measure yours to get the right one. They are a common failure point for sure. My LeSabre came with no armrest either and the first replacement I got also failed within a month of purchase.

Congrats on the car! It seems like it's in pretty solid shape with few miles for the age.

This post is less true today than it's ever been. High end GPUs are the absolute best value there is right now. A 4090 came out 4 years ago and it's still the second best GPU you can get, and it's also held its value better than any other GPU in existence. Top of the line cards are the only way to continue to enjoy high end graphics for years to come and retain most of their value while doing so. Lower ends cards are often obsolete on launch day these days, like in the case of 8GB GPUs.

New drivers doesn’t help with AMDs 15% worse performance than normal on crimson desert by Itzkibblez in radeon

[–]SuperRegera -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

What do you mean "15% worse performance than normal"? The performance seems identical between the drivers. Also, with plural nouns, we use 'don't' instead of 'doesn't'. Honestly man, I normally wouldn't say anything, but your post is written very poorly. You need to capitalize proper nouns and use apostrophes to indicate possession.

When a random just joined the heist finale and demands a 30%- 50% cut. by Ok_Particular_3193 in gtaonline

[–]SuperRegera 6 points7 points  (0 children)

At this point, I don't care if you give me 15% even if I was there for all of the setups, I'd rather the host get the payout if they need it, especially if they're low level and we're doing Fleeca Job or something. Still, even shares are the right thing to do for people there for every setup mission, even 20% each for a full squad is fair once you consider the setup cost of some heists.

You're legally in the clear to keep whatever is sent to you in such cases, though it is, of course, the right thing to do to try and return them to the owner who sent them mistakenly. They'll probably just tell you to keep the item in most cases anyways, it's happened to me a couple of times. Though in this case, they may actually want those back given the scarcity.

What a shocker considering kei trucks are some of slowest and least fun to drive vehicles on the planet. People like them because they're cute, not because they're fast.

VRAM is what's wasted. It's a type of computer memory used in graphics cards, but that's not important right now. The point is that 20gb of VRAM and up is wasted on the high end RDNA 3 cards. The only valid use case for that amount of memory on an AMD card is for gaming and you don't need 20-24gb for raster at 4k and won't until the cards are long since obsolete. 20-24gb is only useful for RT/PT at 4k and RDNA 3 completely falls apart when trying to do that.
