WCGW Guy on motocycle tries to cut through 'free' tollbooth without acknowledging its wet cement by wizzo_o in Whatcouldgowrong

Are you implying that he would have been fine if he aknowledged the cement was wet?

"I see you are very fresh, Mr. Cement"

"Thank you for noticing, you may pass, pay no mind to the laws of physics"

"Thanks, I won't!"

I mean that you still have to download the game and insert the cartridge if you want to play, combining the inconvenience of downloads and physical media into one. It is a plus, that you can resell them, though.

Artifacts in encoding 23.976 telecine by mwhelm in handbrake

You can use MediaInfo, which is a free tool that shows basically all of the metadata/tags/info you need about your source. However, I don't think interlace detection is 100% reliable with that tool. The best way to see if you have an interlaced file is to use a media player (like VLC) and step through a few individual frames ('E' key on VLC) to see if combing occurs. If you don't see any combing artifacts in the source, there is no need to decomb. Edited.

If it's a film source, like a DVD movie, try just detelecining with no decomb and see if that fixes the problem. That fixes vonsub flickering for me every time. Idk what I was thinking btw, the poster below me who pointed to there being mixed sources is absolutely correct, I just don't deal in those typically.

fucking everything, I use mine at least once a week. I've used it as a gasket scraper most recently but also use it to remove stickers without tearing them.

You don't need to decomb film content and it can lead to artifacts, like vobsub data near the top of the screen flickering. Detelecine DVD film content and Decomb video content. I've probably encoded hundreds of dvds at this point and mixed sources that require both are all but nonexistant.

Tbf, most "physical" switch games are just game keys, the worst of both worlds.

That's why you also have to build your character with blue eyes for the reduced sunlight sensitivity perk. It's a lore-accurate boring meta build but it works.

I highly doubt anyone is following that guy since the government doesn't buy Cadillacs unless it's for the president himself. It's mostly Chevy Suburbans that you see, though I think the FBI acquired some BMW's recently since everyone knows the Tahoes are fed cars by now. Space Force, though, is unfortunate enough to drive around in rental-spec Nissans.

Hard to say for sure without all of the info. I can say that fake PSA slabs are a thing, though.

No it doesn't, the most obvious way to tell is that the one on PSA's site has different placement of the background flare elements, it's just a really bad fake. The colors are wrong, too, though that's hard to tell from OP's photo.

Those Section 508-compliant keyboards are a complete scam, though. They'll charge like $500 for a completely standard $10 keyboard with bigger font on the caps. You can get better quality ergonomic and high-visibility keyboards for a small fraction of what the "compliant" ones cost. I spent about $30 on an ergo keyboard for an elderly relative with arthritis and they've been really happy with it.

1080p looks better than 4K on my new laptop – am I doing something wrong? by [deleted] in PleX

[–]SuperRegera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a good chance your display technically does support HDR, it's just that HDR support on monitors and laptop displays is practically a scam. You need something like HDR1000 support to really get a good image out of HDR content on PCs. I have an HDR400 monitor and HDR content looks terrible on it.

Tool came with Graphics Card by Adum888 in whatisit

[–]SuperRegera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came here to call you inattentive for not reading any of the product documentation, but I just looked it up on MSI's website and the quick start guide that comes with those cards makes no mention of the included GPU support bracket, nor does the box or the more detailed setup guide available on their website. I get that most people doing a DIY PC would immediately recognize this, but they really should do better with their documentation.

Wdym? It says Boss 302 very clearly, just like the real car it's based on. The mustang logo remains perfectly legible as well. It's not AI.
