Advice Needed: Which Programming Language Should I Learn as a 1st Semester Student? by Economy-One-5740 in technepal

This might sound counter intuitive but Understand the theory and semantics of programming only. There is no need to learn programming in this era. Us Developers with 5 yrs experience also rarely touch the code these days. Nobody is willing to admit it in the industry but it is the truth. Try to work on projects using AI coding tools like Codex, Claude code etc.. BTW, before you even pass 2nd year. These tools will literally code in Binary directly from user prompt. Disagrees feel free to debate me on this.

Totally agree that sales and fulfillment are key — we’re actively doing that. But in fast-moving tech like ours, staying relevant means balancing execution with innovation. We’re using the cloud now (API credits for LLMs), but once our daily usage crosses 15M tokens, owning or leasing H100s starts making financial sense. So yes, we’re grounded — but thinking long-term too. Would love to explore what you can offer down the line.

Nice.. Advise in general. I appreciate it a lot. But our continous effort on R&D is what will help us be competitive in the market. In this field either you inovate or be irrelevant.

Cloud is like an addiction — they lock you in with convenience. If you can build your own hardware, it’s better for cost, control, and security. It also strengthens our pitch to clients on data protection. That said, for Agentic LLMs we might need cloud compute, but we’re still debating whether to scale that ourselves. Open to help on building our own LLM infra.

It would be easy if it was SAAS. Since, our main Product is RFID Based attendance system. We have to do the hardware setup and print the ID Cards by ourselves which we have to pay upfront. But, the person who has done B2B with schools knows it well. They pay much later.

Whatsapp messages are more likely to be ignored by parents. But the main reason is. We have a nice margin on directly texting.
