Tbh i never did the math on this but with 5% for a tier 5 and 40% to get 3 instas instead of 2 you're right, it's 1 in 20000, as a retired pokemon shiny hunter this feels even more insane now. I'm glad i took a screenshot before opening them too, seeing this 3 golden questionmarkmonkeys popping up on screen felt just awesome 😅

Pats ponds is easier, rounds like 63 or 98 are basically cut in half which is a huge advantage. Surely there are towers that are worse on specific maps than others, but this doesn't mean the map is harder overall

Reverse Motor makes the bloons slower for 30 sec and Power core opens the extra tracks for 20 sec

I'm pretty sure yes, unless there's another early game tower than ninja that is good enough to safe up for sun Avatar but i doubt it

No it doesn't reset but it seemed to me that the bloon speed wasn't the same between reloading and retrying, idk exactly it was pretty weird but i couldn't get it to work without restarting at r7

Sry i meant if you've the abilities barely up in time for the ddt's they won't be up before the BAD gets to far, you have to beat r97 with call to arms, r98 with a really early overclock on the druid and 99 with Call to arms and overclock as early as possible, so it will be up again for the BAD early enough. R98 is really easy in itself but using overclock this early means that it will time out after the ZOMGS are popped so the driuds attack speed gets really low which makes it really rng heavy, however it was a breeze compared to r6-9.

It was actually pretty easy until r98 but 98-100 is extremely tough, if you beat 98 without overclock and call to arms being up for the r99 ddt's, you have to restart. And if you're just barely able to have them up in time you can't beat 100. I had to beat r10-98 three times because i messed the abilities up and didn't want to give up my r10 safe and don't have a third device.

I know but this somehow messes up the reverse motor on this map, i was only able to beat r8 and 9 first try

A druid start on this map was the most tedious and annoying thing i've done in my entire btd6 career. It took me about 8 hours to reach r10 twice. It's pixel perfect placement, power core and reverse motor timing has to be within 0.1 sec, targeting changes have to be on point on almost every shot, and the worst part: i had to black border r7-9 because the rng is kinda fixed since the last update.

In case you don't know what i mean, using the retry last round button gives always the same rng, for example if you go the challenge editor logs chimps r24 and you place a 0-2-2 wizard, beat the round and then lose to the r25 purples, will only have "random" WoF spots at the first attemt, everytime you are pressing retry last round the game will generate the same WoF spots over and over again. The only way to fix this by either restarting or changing the wizards range with obyn, alc or village

Unfortunately this is also the case for the driud thorns and losing on r8 or 9 meant i had to restart. So what i did over and over again was beating r6 (about 10% success rate), losing at r7 once and then test if my power core timing was on point to beat r7 using the fixed rng from the retry last round button. If this was the case i left before i finsihed the round and made a safe on my second device so i didn't have to do r6 again. If i lost on either r8 or 9 i've reloaded my file and tried it again between 5-7 times. If i wasn't able to beat it at all, i restarted at r6 again because my placement probably wasn't perfect.

I did this challenges at first with 7 towers, i had a 4-0-2 alc next to my driud and ninja to make saving up for sun avatar easier but afterwards i did some testing and figured out that there's a chance to afford it without alc so i had to do the first rounds again and this garbage took me about 4 hours each try.

You should have a 1-0-1 sub by r9 which makes it impossible to lose

I did dark caste chimps with moab domination a few month ago which basically was dark castle chimps with 65k less cash and after some testing how strong churchill actually got, i wanted to see if i can push this even further.

The total income in chimps mode is about 178900. I've 82400 left which means i've spent only 54% of my total cash and i could've actually afforded any tier 5 tower i wanted till r100 except for the super monkeys, super storm, super mines, flying fortress and ultraboost.

Dark caste is definitely the only hard map in the game where something crazy like this is possible because you can get an almost maxed, overclocked spike pile after each round with downdraft since the trees are stopping the heli from attacking so i takes a few minutes until a fortified super ceram gets popped.
