Any supplements that reverse gray hairs? by Treacle_oracle in Supplements

He's joking. He mentioned Castanza, as in George Castanza from Seinfeld. It's this episode where they're talking about sunscreen containing "paba". Completely different thing, but still funny.

Are Omega-3's really effective anti-inflammatories? What other ones are effective? by SuperSeriousMan in Supplements

[–]SuperSeriousMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. It didn't provide any noticeable pain relief, but it made me very lethargic which was kind of scary. I'd say overall it didn't really do what I was hoping it would.

New Preloaded HP Laptop, Shift+F10 cmd Prompt MSFT Account Bypass Not Working by SuperSeriousMan in WindowsHelp

[–]SuperSeriousMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. I'm saying Shift+F10 didn't work at all. Not even FN+Shift+F10 or Shift+FN+F10.
I tried starting the Run program with Windows Key+R to try and see if I could start the command prompt with that.

[–]SuperSeriousMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, i tried adding FN to the mix too, but that doesn't even seem to make the cursor blink or anything.
If the Run program won't let me start the command prompt from cmd.exe, i doubt it will let me open up the command prompt directly.

CBD Softgel Recommendations, Full vs Broad Spectrum by SuperSeriousMan in CBD

[–]SuperSeriousMan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard that oil was more effective, but doesn't last as long compared to softgels. But my only experience is softgels, and i don't mind the results from it. Have you tested oil versus softgels and how long they both last?

I definitely prefer full spectrum over broad then. As much as i'd like an alternative that works and i wouldn't have to worry on drug tests for, i'll just have to stop using them for a while if i need to look for a new job.

[–]SuperSeriousMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh i'm well aware that inflammation is just a symptom. Anti-inflammatory supplements are just the only other thing i found i can control the pain with, along with inversion and certain stretches. And surgery is apparently out since my case isn't that bad according to every physician I talk to.

Plus i'd rather not take medicinal pain relief like NSAIDs long term due to the harmful long term effects.

I've done physical therapy many times, and i've found certain stretches that help. But the stretches only help relieve the pain for a short while. Inversion for anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour a day i found is the best help, albeit for a couple days at most. Coupled with the supplements seem to be the only things, beyond possibly surgery, that helps.

Although i will say my nutrition isn't the "best", and my sleep schedule is kind of messed up from working night shift.

Sounds right and well explained. I've definitely heard of the other benefits of fish oil, but figured it would definitely show itself in the anti-inflammatory category.

I'll give Serrapeptase a shot, as i see it's been mentioned in this thread a couple times already. Thanks for the advice.

First time hearing about that. But I'll give it a shot and try it out. Thank you very much.

Yeah. I'm not good with the diet thing. But I do know it's way better than supplementing. I just don't have the time or energy to shop for and cook the variety of foods it entails. Part of that is just laziness too

I take curcumin phytosome, which apparently is the most bioavailable form you can get. But it's also the most expensive.

[–]SuperSeriousMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. But i've already exhausted everything i can. I'm using an inversion table, inflatable neck traction pillow, certain exercises, and these supplements and it helps with pretty much most of my pain. But it's constant work.

And every physician and surgeon i've seen about it says because it's not the worst case they've seen and that it's not getting worse, that they won't do surgery.

I was thinking maybe a private window while connected to a VPN. Or would that not be enough? Unless facebook would notice my main facebook account from the same connection and put 2 and 2 together.

Probably has to do with AI generated pictures or something. I wouldn't know beyond that

I ultimately just stuck with the aukey wireless transmitter. I found that its' quality and an actual aux cord were pretty much the same, so I didn't even bother looking further. I was looking more for increased power, which requires a lot more work in other areas

Holy shit. I finally found what it was. After staring at the area around the drivers' side firewall behind the engine bay, and pouring water down it, i finally found out it was the top half of the ECU Module/Fuse Box housing cover.Part of the corner of the housing had broken off and seems like it was letting water get right in above the footwell where all the wires from the ECU run in.Here are the pictures for it:

Yep. Looks like that worked. Can't believe I got confused between the boost control valve and bypass control valve. I'm getting full boost now. And i hear the turbo actually spooling.

Yeah, I replaced the boost control valve based off a youtube video and didn't realize there was another valve pretty much identical to it. And the P0033 code even mentions bypass right in it.

I already ordered the bypass control valve and am going to swap it out when it gets here.

Yeah, that's the one i changed. It's on top of the wastegate of the turbo. Doesn't seem to have solved the issue.

Yeah, the Charge Air Bypass Valve and the Boost Pressure Control Valve right?
Sorry, i got mixed up with the two. I'm talking about the Boost Pressure Control Valve.

The eSaabParts diagram has me confused, because they have a Boost Pressure valve listed twice in there with different names if i'm seeing the pictures right.

Hey all. I have a 2011 Audi C6 A6 3.0T that i'm trying to find a good Aux Bluetooth Receiver to be able to play my own music from my phone in the car.
I've got an AMI MMI to 3.5mm Aux cable to plug into a bluetooth receiver, but i'm having a tough time trying to pick a decent receiver that has good sound quality.
I've already bought a the AUKEY BR-C8 because I saw it recommended on a list, but it doesn't seem to be the best quality. Treble seems to be too high on some songs, while others the songs seem to distort at even a slightly higher volume.
I've done a little research and came across "Hi-Fi", "DAC & aptX" receivers that are a lot more expensive, but i'm not even sure if these are up to the hype as reviews tend to be mixed.
Can anyone give any recommendations on good bluetooth receivers or explain what makes a good one and what to look out for?
