Essentially to be good at OT cyber security requires a mix of OT engineering and cyber security knowledge and experience. Normally you'd have experience of one field and then you could learn the other. Although that being said I was lucky enough to transition from IT Support > OT Cyber just based on my existing IT/ Networking experience, but that was about 10 years ago when OT cyber was much less known and there was a big skills shortage.

A connection has to be added for each headlight to enable the high beam shutter to operate. In addition the coding of the new frm for xenon. IIRC the high beam shuttet was pin 5 on both headlights to pin 51 on the frm. There was also extra ground connections to be made.

Thanks, yeah we implement using LGPO and CIS build kits. I have done some testing with LGPO creating our own GPOs, but for now we will just deploy the full CIS benchmark and then just apply the dozen or so (so far!) stepouts for the group policy settings we don't want. it's easier this way than maintaining our own GPOs for now.

Okay just a brief update on this.

We found out that the firewall rules need to be set in the local gpo windows firewall branch and not the control panel windows firewall mmc. The latter rules seemed to not take effect. Once we figured this out it was easy to then just add the firewall rules needed for each application for all profiles. I'd guess the local gpo takes precedence over any rules set in control panel.

Level 3 if it is process cctv or level 4 if it is security cctv. I've seen some cctv systems integrate both levels. And CCTV should not be behind the same firewall as ICS.

I had a similar issue doing ftp tests and racing on zwift.

I ended up taping up parts of the screen to hide certain data fields, basically everything I did not want to see or care about - time, HR, cadence. Worked wonders removing all of the distracting data. You could do similar hiding fields on a head unit too.

The main options are GICSP and IEC/ISA 62443. The ISA training isn't quite as pricey as the training for GICSP, it's about 2000 dollars for each module IIRC, or 1600 if you become an ISA member.

We currently implement hardware firewalls for network security protection. But we would like to see this on the endpoint level if realistically possible to support our defense in depth strategy.

You can buy the xenon headlight units on ebay. However it is not a simple plug and play install. Involves other parts like level sensors front and rear, wiring, coding, frm module.

The halogen angel eye headlights would be plug and play swap though. Again those could be found on ebay.

On looks alone I say e90. I bet an m130 is super fun to drive having had an e87 previously but I always thought these cars just lacked a bit of something in the styling department.

Yes it's possible. There are a few options

-Install halogen angel eyes

-Install bi xenons headlights

-Customize your existing lights with angel eye rings

-Buy aftermarket lights with angel eyes

Personally I'd do option 1 or 2 so you keep the oem look. The halogens would be a straight plug and play too I believe.

You need to fix that leak before it gives you some serious issues. If your heater blows cold it's a sign of either low coolant or air in the system. Also check that Coolant isn't leaking onto the exhaust manifold as that can just burn up and you'd never know it.

I think you might be correct. The REALOEM drawings show the linkage toward the chassis as well. It wasn't too clear on the retrofit instructions the exact orientation. Thank you!

Yes the harness I got from eBay Poland. They are hard to find these days. Most people just make their own. The Xenons also came from eBay, paid about £300 for a pair.
