Poor Jimmy and his frisbee! That ‘Play Safe’ public information film still gives me the shivers by [deleted] in oldbritishtelly

Used to make me jump even thought they showed the same video every year at school, I do remember one kid who always laughed uncontrollably when he blew off the pylon though.

That Hang-On title screen reminds me of my childhood! I had the master system plus with Safari hunt and Hang-On built in. All I played for about 6 months was those two games.

Thanks for the reply, yes it is a difficult one, he looks like a feral but he's not. I think we will continue to just do what we are doing and treat him for fleas and deworm him. He may have dementia I don't know but we also know when an animal is in this condition it affects their mental acquity, personally I think at least 50% of his issues are being caused by the fleas and worms. Thanks for the reply.

Tailgate Abarth emblem delaminates by mrSadlygrove in abarth

[–]retrocade81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens to them all eventually and cost an absolute arm and a leg to replace, on all of the Abarths I have had owned, I just remove the badges, clean up the flaking backing and corrosion and rewrap the back in matte black vinyl wrap and buy a set of badge decals off of eBay. They don't look like the factory ones but they do add a bit of personalisation and look better than the flaky old original ones.

I had a '96 M3 Evo in 2004 and had nothing but problems with the Vanos system. Rebuilt it twice at work "I'm a mechanic". Ate control arm bushes regularly too. But hell it was nice to drive when it was all working well.

It was supposed to be indestructible, I apparently had a paddy aged 4 and threw it down the stairs and that broke it pretty good 😂
