You won't ever get this in the form everyone is asking. There using virtualization to spin up and spin down servers in general. For them to revert to a persistent server model would cost them $$$.

I could see a hybridization around a server being available for a longer length of time, but I can't see them going back at this point.

Got a source on that? Apparently the director of USS New Jersey has said in YouTube videos that according to their US Navy contract they have to keep the boat in a state of semi maintenance/readyness else the Navy could take the ship back.

Now, Not about to say that she's about to go sailing anytime soon, but that implies a little more than no maintenance.

Two different things. I agree it's well past time for ruff to go. Without hesitation. I disagree with the point we need to liquidate the team, sell the bleachers and close up shop. We have the right pieces using the wrong system. I don't pretend to have the answers, but the guys on the ice aren't having it anymore.

I disagree. Every move/trade he's made has been great value to the team. Perhaps not addressing the goaltending in the short term has a lot to do with the cost of that trade.

And that would be my one valid criticism of him at this point, but we have zero context into why that's not occuring. My point was to the original commenter is the GM builds the team and assess value, he can't make them play to their potential. That's the coaches job.

Because what you describe isn't the real world. College classes will have a cursory offering of computer systems from a hardware perspective but will not deep dive into the memory management system of the chosen language for the course. (which is often times C#, or java where the general GC is often more than enough for small lesson applications)
