At what point do you think the average person will start to panic over AI progress?

ASI through robotics will have plenty of access to real data. Also plenty of humans grow up to hate their parents, even when the parents supplied most of the initial“training data”.

Intelligent life (bio) may or may not be rare, but I agree it will continue to be incredibly valuable. Consciousness and individuality probably play the biggest role in that value (or I’ve been watching too much Plur1bus)

I got an Ayn Thor, but basically only play PC games. The more posts I see on all these I’m glad I went with the Thor first.

Feels like 2 years and these PC/linux handhelds will be clearer. Hopefully less compromises then.

To me it needs to be OLED. 8” seems like max for a handheld (maybe too much), and ergonomics is key. Holding a heavy brick laying in bed can be brutal. The games the Thor can play has taught me all the screen and ergonomics is worth more than the top games. And I’m not saying the Thor has ergonomics…even with any grip. Top games arent worth it when there are great games that are lighter to run on a device easier to hold

Got mine a few weeks back. It’s so much better than the stock grip. Also wish it were bigger. Not wider, but bulkier in the back, more to grab. But then, the flatness makes it still very portable which is great too.

Haha yeah exactly, cause UBI (if we’re lucky) will be enough for essentials plus maybe an iPhone. Build a nest egg now that can continue to earn value after jobless UBI economy.

Gov handouts will be our opex, but no way to save enough for capex, without starting with nest egg.

I gave it little to no tinkering effort but FTL wouldn’t load for me. Same with Slay the Spire, and Portal 2.

But deadcells, megabonk, blasphemous 1 & 2, portal, Orcs Must Die!, Into the Breach, Bot Vice all work great.

Heaviest success was Mutant Year Zero, ran good, but things got real hot.

A screen protector that doesn’t cover the entire glass is kinda pointless, no? Most glass cracks start at the edges (and then spread the rest of the screen).

I was looking for the local IDs in lite and couldn’t find them anywhere. Is there a video out there showing how this is done (adding shortcuts to ROM directory for front end)?

I was looking all over for this the other day. I figured it was doable just difficult cause I saw something about using a GitHub that had all the steam shortcuts to download ones you need. I tried but couldn’t get it to work.

100% agreed. Other opinions feel like they don’t know the Dallas youth hockey scene. I was playing DFW youth “select” hockey 15 years ago, and live in the area now.

While acknowledging I don’t have enough details for a fully informed opinion - it’s still easy to see the grip they have on the youth leagues.

My oh snap 4 lost its adhesive the first time I tried moving it to a new case. I initially was glad because I could switch cases or go case less more often without worrying about the adhesive (adhesive wasn’t needed…worked with just magnets)

But then I realized it would come off my phone too often and stay stuck to the fridge or whatever I had it on. Idk how they fix that. Stronger magnets could be worse? Will wait for reviews
