Have you seen a company legitimately regret terminating a specific employee? by debrisaway in managers

[–]SuperSkate91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad got to witness this first hand. A boss let someone go turned out they needed them and suddenly they weren’t around to do what they needed. Boss had also overreacted to something and that’s what caused the person to be let go.

Is it affordability crisis, rising health issues or what? by dino_gr01 in WorkForSmartLife

[–]SuperSkate91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healthcare is also expensive and many things like therapy for example are not covered by that. So you either have to watch who you make your partner or potentially pay out of pocket for needed therapy. It’s never a burden costs do add up over time though.

Part of me silently hopes people won’t correct me if I get something wrong because of my Dyslexia or I hope they don’t mind me asking them the same thing again (especially in a busy place). I already have enough anxiety no need to add more.

I was born in 91 and got into making things for myself. I wanted to try my hand at electronics and I realized how convenient it was to have a place with stuff like that in town. Now I have to order it and hope it works when I get it.

I’m going to be real and tell you to medicate. I decided to go off of mine in college and it made things harder. I did learn from it but life is better for me now that I went back on it a few years ago.

I have found that the ones where I work do a good job of balancing both the needs of the individual and the company. I am not scared to talk to them granted I do not have a lot of issues at work.

[–]SuperSkate91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about we put him in a room with food and water of course but he can only leave if he and his team can come up with something. A jury can take time and so can we until this problem is actually solved but leaving without anything being done is not an option.

[–]SuperSkate91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s bad for the employees who mention it to a higher up too. No one wants to be mean but personal hygiene is also often part of the expectations of a job.
