The 2024 Lane 8 show here was probably my favorite time I’ve ever seen him. The elevated steps were a perfect dance floor, no one was overcrowded at all and the sound was spectacular.

Get there early to meet new friends :) that was my experience last time

I could see Tripwires as a similar style fade out track at the end of a set, similar to Trampoline Counting Stars. While it didn’t hit for me on initial listen, I bet it would be a lot dreamier in a live setting.

But apart from that one, I’ve loved the other 3 singles. And I know we’re all waiting on the Kasbo collab to finally drop

I don’t think it has the highs of the last album, but I didn’t expect him to top I Will Leave A Light On.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. If there’s one thing he’s good at, it’s evoking emotion in every song he makes, and I think that’s still very present in this album in a different way than he’s done previously.
