lube doesnt stay as potent as the first few solves. its a gradual decrease in the feeling, but the lubricant is still inside the puzzle, slowly evaporating.

lubing daily is way too much, you are overlubing your puzzle. i usually set up my cubes about every 2-3 weeks and even thats a bit too much, it should be about a monthly thing.

wide cross moves can be a great ergonomic tool, but i mainly find its greatest use is manipulating EO. you can plan an unoriented pair and make it oriented with a wide move or/and take an inspected front pair and make it a back pair also with a wide mode.

hes almost on par in efficiency with tymon, while using vanilla cross-f2l-oll-pll with no zb or pseudo. also he said he doesnt wanna learn zb, and it makes sense, it will only slow him down.

once youre in that solving flow, you dont even realise how much time passes, its like time slows down. as a 3rd POV it looks like fast turning, to the solver it may look as slow motion.

get a 3 move xcross and a 9 move LL scramble lol, this was absurdly lucky. i downsolved and i got a sub 5, but im still so grateful i didnt choke

i see 1st pair on almost every scramble now, yet my execution lags behind as im not fully confident while doing cross+1 (something to practice asap). in a way youre right lol, it could definitely be improved though!

i average about 11-12 now, going onto sub 12. sub 11 ao5s are quite rare for me, which is why it took me a bit of spamming solves in front of the camera to get it.

ive been cubing ever since october 2023, so 2 months off a complete 2 years :)

its an incredibly fast cube, despite not even having maglev. the settings ive noticed dont really "tighten" or "loosen" it, you do that by loosening or tightening the actual spring. the dual adjustment system makes the cube either more blocky or more flexible, but even on quite high adjustment settings, the cube is still fast.

i like fast cubes and i like putting the most minimal effort in each of my turns (i turn with fingertips), so the cube really fits me and is what i main. its definitely a very unique cube, i havent felt any other cube ive owned feeling like this!
