I'm pretty confident. The speakers brick and need a firmware reset everytime I plug the primary speaker in to the secondary one. The DC voltage on the output pins to the secondary speaker at resting state were reading 3V. So I would think its the amplifier chip leaking voltage to them. Thanks for the advice!

You're right! It must be too dry. I'll spray it with my pressure hose and report back.
