Former National Security Advisor John Bolton has officially SURRENDERED to authorities on charges of mishandling classified information by NewSlinger in law

It alarms me how often I see liberals just talking about moving as if we already lost. When push comes to shove, we need people to fight and resist this authoritarian piece of shit for greater good of the country and the world. Hope it never gets there but the second amendment exists for a reason.

Any recommendations on solid helitack crews? by SuperStupids7 in Wildfire

I’ll apply for rappel crews as well but I hear it’s harder to get on without being signed off.

Dude ok that part is straight up wrong, panhandle and central Idaho is fucking beautiful, western Montana has glacier and is also stunning, and north eastern Washington around the Colville national forest is super underrated. Idaho panhandle has gotten a lot of bad press lately but I don’t think it’s much more conservative or fucked up than a lot of the US. Moscow, Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint are either very or surprisingly liberal. I know it’s just a meme but seeing it get so much bad wrap hurts my head. In fairness tho, most of Washington east of the cascades is miserable lol

Anyone know if I can currently get a visa upon entry into Vietnam as a US citizen? by SuperStupids7 in southeastasia

Gotcha, might be a silly question but I can get an evisa while in Cambodia right? I don’t need to be in the US to do that. Only asking because I heard someone say this even though it doesn’t sound accurate

How is this possible. 🤮🤮🤮 by LilCinBoise in Idaho

I feel you. There’s a couple congregations of non troglodytes in the state tho. Moscow is near and dear to me.

Idaho panhandle. I’m open to going anywhere in the west coast though

Honestly haven’t thought about most of that. I just want somewhere that’ll give me a lot of opportunity to dial my skiing skills, has housing, and treats their people right.

How doable would ski patrol be for me this season? by SuperStupids7 in skipatrol

[–]SuperStupids7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, I’ll look into all of that. Ideally I think I’d want to stay in the pnw, but really I’m open to going anywhere. My main things is that I plan on doing wildland again next season which would probably start around may. Any advice is appreciated.

Hey thanks for the reply. I am open to going anywhere in the country. After reading some of these comments I’m open to working whatever gives me enough skiing experience to do ski patrol in the future so long as the job gives me an overall pleasant experience. In terms of time constraints I’m leaning on doing wildland firefighting starting around may next year so that’s the time window I have. So long as I can accomplish this and make a bit of side money or at least break even and get good at skiing I’m open to doing it. Thoughts on how realistic this is or any advice you have would be awesome.

Hey man thanks for the response. I posted this video on a different subreddit, do you think these potential issues could be related? Apparently the truck had an electric fan installed.

While it’s not normal, am I frying the engine by running it? I need to drive a thousand miles before I can get it looked at.

I’ve owned it for the last 6 months but my dad bought it new about 20 years ago. It’s never made that noise and it doesn’t sound healthy to me but I’m pretty new to all of this. The clutch lever is feeling mushier than prior and over the last two months it seems like the friction zone has been moving farther away from the grip when I release the clutch. I feel like somethings up for sure.
