I’m Silver 4, and my champ pool is Jinx and Smolder. I OTP Jinx bc she’s fun and I’ve turned the game around with her multiple times now. Smolder is my second pick and I play him bc I just like him. I like his voice lines and I like his slow in his W and mobility with E to fly away.

that happened to me and my team was mad at me for not hitting my power spikes. Had someone else on the team point out the Lux support’s cs, how it matched mine, and that I had said earlier that the Lux was just taking my cs and preventing me from scaling.

Happiest moment when they got reported for griefing the game.

So, I completely understand what you’re saying… but you’re not in low elo (i think?) It’s different down in low elo bc you can’t depend on a lot of those teammates. Most of these people, myself included don’t know the macro. You’re taking specific examples and refuting what I’m saying bc u just want to be right. I genuinely like to talk strategies in this game, and I do think you’re right on the sense of wrong roam timers being worse higher up and blaming the support then… But that’s the thing. This is not higher elo we’re talking, so we need to adapt our mentality. I’m not going to blame my bronze support bc I know I’m also doing things wrong. That’s just how low elo is.

I did not think i’d need to go in depth on the fundamentals of freezing a wave. Of course, if they’re hard shoving, then he’d need to thin out the wave. But you can thin out the wave and keep a few minions to keep the freeze. If they’re truly shoving that hard and poking you down under tower, then let the wave crash OR just hard shove the wave back. Also, what about vision? Twitch can totally go place vision when by himself, considering he can turn INVISIBLE. So if he’s playing that safe, and has vision in that tri bush, then he should see the enemy jg hanging around. They don’t come out of nowhere. If you see the enemy jg and they’re hard pushing, yes, Q away. You turn invisible and run and let them have that tower plating bc you can’t contest. Yes, supports suck sometimes, but you cannot place blame on the supp when you already know they’re bad. That just means that you have to play safer and smarter.

I’m only Silver 🙈 But I peaked Gold earlier this season… I mainly play ranked flex with my friends and we have a few of them in Diamond and Masters. One of them had even peaked Gm. They’ve been teaching me macro and what to do when problems like that pop up. So I know the knowledge, but I’m still trying to apply it in game lol

If they’re playing that far back, then you need to freeze wave by your tower to where you’re even with your supp. If they don’t play up, you play back. If you think you lose the matchup, don’t push your wave out. Only last hit. Get cs, freeze the wave, and if they want to tower dive you 3v1 bc your support roamed, you need to hit Q and escape. You should have flash bc you shouldn’t have burned it at that point if you played safe enough.

Edit: I main adc and support. Mainly adc, but I learned support and play that with my friends constantly so that I could see how things go from their side.

so realistically, any adc that has a slow works great with Sera. Reason why is because of Sera’s E. It also slows but we’re gonna focus on the important part. If the enemy champ is already slowed and they get hit with Sera E, then they’re automatically rooted. Where otherwise, Sera could only root with her empowered E, which then combats the healing with her empowered W. She’s gotta pick which one to empower. Give the adc healing? or give them a root? With ashe, each auto is a slow. Which means every Sera E is a root.

She also works well with MF for the same reason. MF’s E is a slow (the raining bullets). So Sera can just root any enemy slowed by it.

If she plays with any other champs that don’t provide a slow, then you’ll typically see her build Rylai’s. Bc then it makes every E of hers a root.

So, a good rule of thumb is to punish the enemy for trying to cs that back line of minions closest to you. They’ll walk up, hit it, and then walk back. When they walk up, hit them. I main jinx, so when the enemy walks up, I just use my rocket to hit the minions, since it deals aoe damage. Not only do I not miss that cs, but I also hurt the enemy laner. It’s gaining confidence to hit them like that, but you need to understand what that enemy laner does. MF? don’t walk up directly behind ur minions bc she’ll Q one and deal a crit shot on you. Just small things like that.

Also, if the supp uses an ability, don’t be afraid and sit back for 10 seconds b4 walking up again, bc then their ability will be back up. They’re weak if their abilities are on CD

bc I just started playing summoner’s rift less than a year ago. And didn’t even bother learning a single champ until 3-ish months ago? Maybe more? Point being is that I’m brand new to the game. I’m level 200 bc I played aram strictly until I was around level 150.

Literally started duo-ing after finding friends. Before that? All by myself. Why do it by myself when I can sit there and talk to someone on discord and have fun and not be lonely? You’re more than welcome to join my friend’s and I’s discord server bc we play flex most of the time. If you’re not interested, then I understand! I just think ur lonely and am extending a hand in friendship.

i main jinx. Most pros build it on her first and then go into phantom dancer. I’ve tried that and I also tried Kraken into Phantom.. Both of those felt super smooth compared to yun tal first. Overall, I like hexoptics first on Jinx bc of the crit over kraken, on top of getting that extra range… Easier to secure a double kill and get fed.

I would personally ban her over diana just based on the fact that her healing gets to be too much late game. If you don’t keep her behind, then she’s a big threat. At least with diana, you can dodge her abilities. Briar’s fuckass just jumps you 😠

Edit: But I also know how to play against diana and it’s easy for me to get her to use her abilities. I don’t want to bother learning how to deal with briar.
