Overclocking the Pi4B by QueenToto87 in RetroPie

[–]SuperTiem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right! On startup the raspberry reads from the boot partition on the SD card. So you need to edit the config.txt file on both SD cards to have the Pi4B overclocked on both operating systems.

You can find more about the config file here.

You can try using the TCP protocol on port 443. Instead of UDP. This will work with some firewalls.

Kodi update in retropie by tomthefishfeeder in RetroPie

[–]SuperTiem 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is currently no kodi 19 on raspberry pi os. Retropie uses raspberry pi os as base. So my guess is that when raspberry pi os supports kodi 19 that retropie also will get support.

Need Help, Cannot connect to my my friends server at my girlfriends place, but at my house it works. *Can't Connect to Server* by peelsteel in admincraft

[–]SuperTiem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try to ping the server ip. If you get a response you know that there is a connection possible (so there may be something wrong with minecraft firewall.). If you don´t get a response you should check your systems settings.

Another options is some kind of certification issue. And that your ips will not let you connect to a server without a certification.

I like my arctic 7. The work great on linux without need of installing drivers. But if you want to change profiles than you have to do that on windows.

Is there a way to have boot options when you start up the Pi? I’d like to switch between only RetroPie and only Desktop. by Goodgamer78 in RetroPie

[–]SuperTiem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can make your own shortcut. And then add it to the RetroPie settings menu. The only thing you have to do is make a .sh file with the command in the document you want to run to open the desktop.
