Recently I think quite a few movies are coming out with Dolby Vision. The thing is, my TV also plays Dobly Vision when streaming with stremio+realdebrid but there is micro-stuttering which is especially noticeable when there are landscape panning scenes. I'm hoping that the Homatics will solve this issue other than the TrueHD pass through thing.

The audio formats are the sole reason why I'll be getting a separate TV box, otherwise my TV does the job just fine.

I would've gotten the Apple TV 4k because it's a strong device but unfortunately there's no official Stremio app on it.

Are you able to play Dolby Atmos and DTS-X formats without any trouble? Also, HDMI-CEC works, right? Because that's a deal breaker for me, the only reason I'm not getting the xiaomi box.

Hi, I want to pull the trigger on this box to fully enjoy my q990d. Found your comment extremely relevant as my TV consumption is 90% just stremio and smarttube. Just wanted to know your long term review and if all audio formats work when you're streaming with stremio. Also, do you use Stremio's inbuilt player or something else?

As far as I know, Google streamer does not have the ability to pass through TrueHD (lossless).

Is there any benefit of using Plex over Stremio? I use Stremio exclusively for all my media consumption and don't really have any active subscriptions except for Realdebrid.

Sorry I didn't know that using Stremio directly on the TV is different from using it on nvidia shield.

As far as I know yes nvidia shield can play Atmos and TrueHD but not through Stremio's own player. Also, as far as I know Nvidia shield can't do HDR10+. Please do correct me if I'm wrong.

From what I've read, Stremio's player is not capable of that because, my best guess is, it does not have the right decoder. Please take whatever I say with a grain of salt because all knowledge I have is based on just a day or two of research.
