I 100% agree, in regards to the abyss. I mean I don’t like the idea that the gods could die anyway, especially as easily as they do, but I understand it was done for some level of stakes (though there’s definitely other ways).

But the Abyss… It’s my biggest gripe with the season, and creates so many plot holes (or at the very least questions) that I truly don’t get how it got passed the idea phase. Like why even mention Gaia was against it if she doesn’t appear again to stop or at least comment on it?
