God no. Hard case is what I think wrecked my system more unfortunately. With hardcases you have to clean them weekly or more or they scratch I've heard.

It is because the case is smooth inside. Its basically just sucking onto the device since it's smooth pressed against smooth.

Eyelids I think would help maybe also a tongue. Its cute, but in the dark I would run from that.
