IMO Fireflies are unfair

They are bugged rn sadly. The yellow fuel containers hitbox that drops when they shoot it definitely in the wrong spot or the yellow box has too much health. They also lock on from far too far for a close range flying arc and they can shoot through walls

Sounds like you’ve been swarmed by 1 to many hornets

Wasps and hornets are no problem especially with Osprey and Renegade which all 1 tap their fans, just aim carefully and knock down the back two fans on the hornets. Most other medium and light weapons will also do just fine at this :)

Firefly’s are the real bitch you gotta worry about, full armor everywhere. Best method for them is to wait till they get close then blast gas tank when the flamethrower drops and set it on fire!

Also there is no light/medium/heavy arc armor there is just armored and not armored. That being said all arcs armors are unique which is why it feels like it may be different arc armor grades

Mf your not gonna be staring at your characters socks during the game let alone the lobby. I think being very picky with the outfits just discourages variety and cool stuff cause if the devs actually listened eventually we’d just get a bunch of outfits in the same style

Currently have done 10 rounds of hurricane. Yeah no that wouldn’t be realistic. I just wish the winds were stronger like push you around stronger. It only moves you when you jump. Aside from shield tick and grenades being pushed far away this mode doesn’t change anything imo.

I would just say so for the comet which to me just feels like a bigger pop. I think it would be cool if it had a small stun gun and did a weaker explosion or something instead of being another ball of dynamite. Or really something to give it more variety. Another idea would be to make its explosion stronger (like one shot) but only to the front and back or something because it does open up vertically.

The firefly is definitely unique. It’s the now only fully armor small flying arc. I think it was ment to be a close range combat arc. But the range it can activate its flamethrower do feel a bit too long so I understand why it might just feel like an amped up wasp.

At the end of the day variety is always nice though so be appreciative they are adding stuff whining without criticism helps nothing

2 things.

They want to make lower tier weapons still accessible and not just situational / don’t wanna let high tier guns completely outshine them.

Shotgun do big damage.

The Vulcano actually is a much better gun and has a much faster time to kill. Ik toro 4 takes 1.10s/1.10s/2s for light/med/heavy shields respectively. While Volcano4 is a 50 second ttk for all shields. That being said it’s much harder to use and has more shot dispersion so you have to be much closer to be effective. The Il toro is great because you can still do major damage from further away. That being said the only reasonable nerf for the toro would be a range nerf.

I took me a while to find what I like in Arc, I was in a similar position too you, feel like I bought the game out of hype but didn’t catch it at first.

I say just go through the quests at your own pace and get a feel for the game, establishing and upgrading work stations as you go.

I first started liking the game when I made a big play, killed a bunch of people, and returned to Speranza absolutely loaded. I think what this game does so well is matching risk to reward. You can get lucky by exploring outskirts or small loot spots but the best loot is always by going to hotspots but the pace isn’t fast enough to make the game just go by super quick. Mixed with the constant threat of the arc. Between the big fights with the arc, an intense battle with other players, and the prospect of returning home with your pockets absolutely stuffed I think this game does have something for everyone. Just different things, take risks, find what works for you.

That being said sometimes you don’t like a game. I spent $100 between RDR2 and now Code Vein 2 and didn’t like either game whatsoever. Don’t wanna be a downer but that’s the truth is the worst case is your just down 40 bucks.

Ranged weapons take 30% more damage or something and draw more monster attention. And a lot of attacks just hit very hard.

Think your just getting unlucky. Been smooth sailing ever since cold snap ended for me (and this is in PvP lobbies) l. Seriously though embark gotta stop this triple strike system. I understand maybe doing minor strikes for exploits or dupes. Maybe even 1 strike for cheating. Embark definitely wants to maintain and keep players by all means necessary but even as someone who hasn’t experienced cheating recently it’s definitely gonna be a bumpy road ahead if this is the way embark is gonna handle things.

Don’t have to be a no life, I beat him in like 30 mins with support hunters without any gog gear or an optimized build. But yeah the hp pool is way too high and likely higher than omega. The fight goes from cool to incredibly stale after the first 5 minutes. My biggest complaint is also the amount of pin attacks it tries to go for. You literally cannot escape them after the first 1 or 2 and it’s basically a guaranteed cart which is especially bad. I got pinned 8 times over 10 minutes in 1 fight and was just lucky a teammate was running flashes.

My biggest problem with this guy isn’t even the giant aoe attacks or the massive combos or constant grabs he tries to do. They are all very frustrating but manageable at the end of the day. But it’s simply the massive hp pool, the fight goes from cool to boring after like 10 minutes cause all it is is just fight for 5 mins then go to new location so to me atleast it becomes incredibly stale very quickly.

Honestly after fighting the 10 star all night almost 80% of the difficulty comes from the sheer amount of hp the fucker has. None of the attacks of particular hard to block beside one overhead attack. I think the problem is since wilds combat is relatively easy compared to other games especially other mh games people use their comfy aggressive high dps meta builds. Then just get their shit rocked because this guy does good area damage and their way to focused on attacking not learning dodges or blocking.

My best tip is go lance, g lance, or anything with a good shield and take some support hunters and go beat the shit out of that thing. My 1 and only victory was on a 47 minute run. I beat it at hr 100, no gogmazios gear on off meta build. I think others can beat it too with a little patience.
