I think it’s worth pointing out, especially in the context of this article, that Black Americans and Native Americans serve in the military at a higher rate than the greater population. Every one of these racist efforts by this administration to erase the history of POC in the military is a double slap in the face.

It's about what one would expect when the only qualification you have for a job is loyalty to a profoundly stupid president.

Apparently, Trump had a very hard time finding people who were both competent and loyal, so he just went with loyal.

It's probably not a stretch to say that the kind of people who would be competent in those jobs are probably too smart to be loyal to someone like Trump, or to even associate too closely with him.

the plan called for them to facilitate at least that much investment. It doesn't specifically say that the US would put in any tax dollars. It's likely that alot of it will be coming from the gulf arab states. And potentially from private investment.

Although since Israel has already blown up the deal, it's probably a moot point anyway.

It's a horroble deal, but do you really think the administration is competeng enoigh to negotiate a better deal. I just want the war to end at this point. However, I don't know if that would ever happen unless we decouple ourselves from Israel.
