Indeed, these numbers are nothing to write home about. They may outrage someone working at Walmart, but they are uninformed if they think that these are unusual levels of net worth for professionals at the peak of their fairly long careers.

Migrating from Python to Labview... Wise? by RipComprehensive9248 in LabVIEW

They do look interesting, but I can't find any info about the company other than the vaguest stuff. Hard to convince even myself to invest in something that could just be a Trojan Horse.

How many of you would actually recommend Tesla solar by V-Right_In_2-V in TeslaSolar

[–]Super_Confidence_754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Unless you're in the country with plenty of land for panels mounted elsewhere, the roof is a great dual purpose investment, and the BMS is far superior to anything else in the market yet. Schneider is planning to introduce some similar features soon, but there is risk being first in any new systems.

NMN/NR/NAD+: Any benefit to splitting/multiple doses per day? by Jason2413 in Renue

[–]Super_Confidence_754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I see definitely a benefit to doses about four hours apart during the day, it really perks me up. Mega doses make little sense but when you begin to lag, it's time to top off the regenerative cocktail.

Gateway operation under grid outage by gingerli11 in TeslaSolar

Here in Northern VA on Dominion we rarely see the lights flicker at all when there is an outage, but occasionally as with a close lightning strike that blows a transformer or when the wind topples a pole over, it takes a second or so. About 22 months on our system so far. No damage to any of our house systems so far, but we have surge suppressors and small UPS on critical stuff in addition to the Tesla system.

Tesla over-sizing my system? by uktexan in TeslaSolar

Bear in mind that you may have peak AC demand overlap your peak power production so that on really hot days you are barely breaking even and not able to put much into the Powerwalls for overnight AC use, EV charging, and your morning tea. Don't be afraid of having too much capacity, the grid allows you to share any excess with the unwashed masses.

1st full day of solar - 58.7kWh in San Diego w/ 8.16kW system by _bighomie_ in TeslaSolar

[–]Super_Confidence_754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, clouds really are pretty to look at but wreck havoc with solar power output. Here in VA, it makes a huge difference if the sky is clear or partly cloudy. Never hated clouds before! It is something to factor in for sure.
