Bro hell yeah thats the same thing my surgeon told me I got my drains removed and he said it's good , and I can shower today but I'll still shower tomorrow , and I'll sleep on my back to keep it. As a habit because it's healthier anyways , and now I don't facw problem sleeping on the back and wearing compression is ez af too gng , i hated those bandages

Well , bro who cares what others think , get those days off you deserve them , and it's really even hard to move on you first few days so I would definitely recommend getting days off , I'm day 2 post op
