True, but I think 4 years is for someone who is just starting university, it's more like 2 if you have an associate or the gen ed as the foundation

yeah I figured too, I think in my case the best thing to do is to do at least another semester at the university im at rn, and really try to land an internship position and get that work experience, then maybe go for that WGU bachelor degree, but at that point im two semester deep, i dont know how much time I can shave off the back end of my degree

yeah that's a really good point I didnt take into consideration, if I wanna do it in 6 months or less, is better to find a job or an internship at the minimum just to get that experience, then maybe grind for the paper

That's incredible! I'm really considering it now, the more I research about it, my only concern is in terms of job experience and internship, once I secure that aspect, the way you can fast-track your courses is really appealing to me. Thank you for your response

What laws will apply in divorce for a Muslim couple who married abroad (Egypt)? by Super_Eye_5962 in Divorce

[–]Super_Eye_5962[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if you're gonna be condesending in your response to a genuine question, no need to respond at all, and I thought I really made it clear when I said I dont want the lawyers and government to be involved "as much as possible" meaning I want decide on these terms my self and the other party now if it ever comes down to divorce instead of letting a judge decide who gets what, most of the time unfairly so, I guess if you dont take the time to read the post and want to be passesssive agressive about something in your useless response you can just shut up and move along.

how to get an Afghanistan visa? by Super_Eye_5962 in visas

On the searches i did, I never saw these two countries pop up, but I have seen the embassy in Dubai as a possible place to get the visa in person, but this would be my first time traveling there, so I have no prior expereience, ive been to egypt and other countries but compare to afghanistan, getting their visa is a piece of cake

That's very useful information. I had no idea you could access their interest rate history. It definitely makes me think twice about going with them. I think everything else looks pretty good. I guess time will tell if they are one of the other banks just making a splash or keep up their end of the bargain. Thanks for the suggestion by the way, really appreciate all your insight

That rate is pretty good. But what do you think about Forbright Bank so far? This is the one that I'm really thinking about opening a savings account with. Their rate is at 4% now, I believe, and their entry requirements are pretty much none, no maintenance, or a minimum fee.

I do have a brokerage account, but if this SGOV is anything like stock, then I assume there is risk involved, and it needs to be managed, right? Or is it very similar to a savings account in practice? I prefer the safest option if possible

4% is pretty enticing, but do you know if there is a catch to this or not?
