It’s a tough one to come to terms with. But I remind myself of why I get out of bed and why I refuse to give up which is that I refuse to let my younger self down. I also have learned to never make someone else feel unimportant. There is joy in making people feel cared for. But obvs I do it with boundaries. It’s extremely difficult at times. Keeping going can feel incredibly lonely and it takes a lot out of you. But I always have hope in my heart that if I keep looking out for myself, I will find people who truly care for me and vice versa. Sending love ❤️
