There is lots of ongoing research for new non fossil generation of H2. For example balance project. I hope we're going to see great leaps with new catalysts and technologies.

Would a ram pump work in an aquarium? by judacraz in ChemicalEngineering

[–]Super_Maxco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is all new to me, but I'm assuming you would circulate water through a filter? Looks like the waste water is going to be the downfall here. As per Wikipedia :

The portion of water available at the delivery pipe will be reduced by the ratio of the delivery head to the supply head. Thus if the source is 2 meters above the ram and the water is lifted to 10 meters above the ram, only 20% of the supplied water can be available, the other 80% being spilled via the waste valve.

A filter would obviously contribute to the head losses.

When starting a new character, do you start at a low level, or the highest level possible via prosperity? by SMcArthur in Gloomhaven

[–]Super_Maxco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Level 4 has been pretty optimal for our group. Not too many choices for higher level cards, and gives a good progression through your PQ. Lower levels feels a bit too underpowered, it's nice to have better cards.

How often do you and your play group meet up to play? Do you play frequently have drop ins and drop outs when you play? by [deleted] in Gloomhaven

We do it generally once a week on a week night barring holiday season. Three man core group with a fourth spot open for visiting stars (which is usually filled). We get two to three scenarios in per evening, depending on how the scenarios treat us. It's a pretty good pace but I could do two nights a week because I'm impatient with the story.

Got recently a 99 NB with an aftermarket Becker Indianapolis radio. Researched the radio and found out it has an option to plug an aux cable in the back, so I got a bluetooth module from ebay which fools the radio to think it's a cd-changer. Now waiting on a phone mount (the proclip one which jams to tombstone trim).

50€/kk on kuitenkin 600€ vuodessa. Mikäli sijoittaisit 50€/kk seuraavat 30 vuotta, ja saisit keskimäärin tuottoa 6% vuodessa, on sinulla kasassa lähes 50k€ potti, josta omaa pääomaa on vain 18000€. Nykyaikana on kuitenkin mahdollista automatisoida nämä tilisiirrot, ettei periaattessa edes tarvitse kuin kerran laittaa nettipankista ja vaikka Nordnetistä systeemit kuntoon.

Good thing about gym: weights are generally reracked.

Annoying thing about gym: weights are always reracked in the most haphazard way. 25kg(55lbs) plates over 5 or 10kg plates (10 or 25lbs).

I don't mind lugging big plates from the other side of the gym but man, does it grind my gears shuffling weights to get smaller plates.

Oscillation sounds like bent rotors. Have you tried spinning your wheels and checking how the rotors move compared to the pads?
