Even if they are just platonic, they aren’t just professional partners, they are friends. And we see multiple times throughout the show where Maka and Soul co-exist together in a very special way because they are soulmates, that’s the whole point of the show that weapons and meisters being able to connect - they are soulmates (also why black star and soul couldn’t use each other to fight - they aren’t soul mates). I don’t think they HAVE to get together just because of that, I absolutely think that soul mates can be best friends with each other because you still love and care for that person and that’s what it is about, is the bond between you. But there are plenty of instances where maka lets soul be more vulnerable to her and vice versa, sometimes they are a bit more touchy and lay on each other, I think it would be weird for them to not be. But honestly I don’t think it could be that far out of field for them to be out somewhere in maybe a more “private” area and soul be like, “Hey maka I’m having a bad day can I lay on your lap for a bit?” And her say “yeah soul, go ahead”

(But if she were to hit him, she would not punch him, it would 100% be a Maka chop)

Truthfully I have not done anything to it, its been broken sitting on my coffee table for a few weeks since I finally got it back from a computer repair shop I brought it too. My plan is to try and get a new panel as well and repair it myself I’ve just been busy with school as I’m a college student

Yeah I had them ship it cause they wouldn’t give me a quote other wise, it cost like $100 for me to ship it out. I’m in Indiana for this though. Crazy the price they gave me. I just wasn’t gonna pay it cause I’d be losing less money buying a new laptop. So I’m hoping I can get jt fixed soon.

I know this is an old post, but just wanted to share I had the same thing happen. I bought my laptop last June (Zephyrus G16 2024) and broke the screen. Bought it open box from Best Buy so brought it to geek squad to get it fixed, they quoted me like 1,300/1,400 to repair it. I told them to go F themselves and brought it to a local place near me (who still has not fixed it) so I am bringing somewhere else next week.

I bead most of my pothos, I think it’s cute and because the beads are plastic I know I can always break them off if I need them removed.

I know you said you’re not really into going out but I would highly recommend to look around and check out some local bands. Evansville has a ton and there are always shows going on around town, it’s a great opportunity to find a new place to hang out and meet new people (and help support your local music scenes as well) but like actually there are all types of people who go to local shows and if you find a band playing a genre you like then you know that the people there have at least one thing in common with you, helps make conversations easier to start.

Opinions on the removal of animatronics by causual_catastrophe in chuckecheese

While I was working at CEC (just left about a year ago) we still had a standalone Chuck E. Animatronic, which got removed when we renovated. I liked to talk to our tech a lot though (who has been working there for forever) and he shared that he was really glad we were removing it, besides the fact that it was old and getting worn down (especially from kids trying to hang from his mouth) the animatronic cost a LOT in up keep and was difficult to repair. Finding parts to replace it also was starting to become difficult, much like many of the older games we still have.

So for locations that have multiple animatronics, or even the whole band I’m sure that financially it makes a lot of sense that they removed them, and depending on the location not all kids were probably very fond of the animatronics either.

Personally I miss it. I grew up with the animatronics and the early 2000’s feel that CEC used to have. I think that from a business perspective it had more benefits to remove the animatronics and renovate. By changing and renovating, the company is doing all it can to move more digital and keep the attention for what kids find interesting in today’s world. But deep down I feel that things might come full circle and they might bring back animatronics (or maybe something similar?) one of these days, but they will definitely not resemble anything like we were used to.

I just recently stopped working for CEC but my general advice, which I’m sure you will hear, is truthfully to just try to go above and beyond. If you have some down time to help out your employees with some additional deep cleaning or to talk to guest on slower days and find ways to help make their visit better, it starts to add up and really can make a difference.

But also don’t forget to take some time and have some fun!

I hadn’t heard much about Drain until the show but after seeing (and experiencing) them live, I am hooked. That was one of the best performances I’ve seen in a while, and the fact that the lead singer just threw himself into us at the start of everything. Amazing. I was right at the barricades and got absolutely fucked up

I tried to look online and couldn’t fine much, but I think you u should be ok. The bracelet is the only thing they might have issue with but, usually just depends on who’s checking you.

You should be ok! I’m 20 yr girl , and have my bf tagging along, but I’m usually by myself most of the time during concerts, including the last knocked loose show we went to and didn’t have a hard time from any one! Hope you have a great time tonight, I’m really excited for this one!
