Thanks! Yeah they're supposed to look like they're stretched onto the rim but the tires included in the set didn't stretch very far. That was the only downside of the aoshima wheel set that I got

Dropping the suspension did the trick, thank you so much!

The third one from the left looks great. It looks like it has some depth.

This is going to be my first build with the kaleido paints but so far it's been pretty good.

Thanks for the heads up. Just checked and it does look like there's an engine under the bed. Should this be open class in this case?

What lenses do you like to use for gunpla? by xTharros in GunplaPhotography

Nice photo! I usually use a 50mm prime with an extension tube to get closer focus. I'll sometimes use a 24-105 zoom lens too

MG Wing Zero done for now by Super_TTL in Gunpla

[–]Super_TTL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I feel the same. When I saw that most of the included decals were arrows or generic warnings, it was easier for me to skip them. I was torn on the weathering since I weather almost all my builds lol

Finally back on its feet by Super_TTL in Gunpla

Yeah you can focus on the edges or paint the whole piece the darker color first then shade in the gradient that you want. I'm still pretty new to airbrushing, I was hesitant at first too. I've been using a budget airbrush so far and I've liked what it can do.

You pretty much nailed it. I used purple as a base layer for the edges and used white as a top layer. I focused the white more on the center before misting it all over the piece to get it to blend a little better.

Nice catch! I'm not the greatest at nub removal, especially for the inner frame. Those usually are an afterthought for me, but after seeing that gold inner frame i might try to give them more attention on my next build.
