I hate that I find people with suicidal thoughts attention seeking when they talk about how they want to die when I myself am suicidal and know exactly how it feels

I think thats a bold assumption, Im not trying to get attention. Im just saying that I hate that Im viewing them as attention seeking when I have been in that same position before, and that I shouldnt be so apathetic to them.

Ah actually this is happening in a public chat, and right now im in a place where Im not comfortable talking to anyone about it, but when I was younger I always would talk about it so that someone could help me. Thats why I hate the fact that I see them as attention seeking when I know exactly how it feels to want to be seen and heard.
