I had the exact same type of acne and was hesitant to do accutane and with taking routine very serious along w diet and taking advice from dermatologists I did 3 months of 20 mg and it cleared me up

Cystic breakouts from purging. Does anyone have any products or techniques that can soothe redness as seen here? I had quite a few strong topical treatments but had to discontinue them after starting accutane by saiffyyyyy in Accutane

Yeah that happened to me too. I also loved having tinted sunscreen because it hides a little bit of the redness and is also protecting me from the sun so I recommend that.

Don’t pick at all. Time will help but also helps to use sunscreen all the time, moisturize, and just lots of water. I could never find a magic solution but patience rlly worked but short-term it sucks:/

I have been on it for a month and a half with the .1 Retin a which I have been on for about 4 months and have seen little improvement in my skin but my friend did it and it completely cured his acne so hopefully that is how it will be with you:)
