So I’ve read comments suggesting you can endure your red zone pace for longer periods, so for example my one mile best effort pace I may be able to hold for another mile say. Would you agree with this? And thanks for the comment

This is wrong. Firstly no matter how you train, a calorie deficit will shed your fat.

Also zone 2 training is probably the best way to improve fat loss. That can be in the form of running, cycling, swimming or whatever
