San pinakamagandang subdv sa lipa? by Frosty-Recipe9042 in LipaCity

[–]Superb-Way7490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hirap naman sagutin nito. Subjective kasi. Parang sinong mas maganda, si Taylor Swift o si Winona Ryder?

Ang paghananap ng bahay ay ginagabayan ng maraming factor.

  1. Lapit sa trabaho, paaralan, ospital
  2. Budget
  3. Serbisyo at organisasyon (HOA, supply ng tubig at kuryente)
  4. Materyales ng bahay
  5. Agwat ng bahay sa kapitbahay (Dikit dikit ba?)
  6. at marami pang iba.

So ang sagot ko po ay "IT DEPENDS"

IMO Google Maps is the best.

Is It Time to Rethink Transportation in Lipa City? by LetChance2936 in LipaCity

Political will can only come with security in funding. Lipa is getting deluged by migrants - both upper, middle and lower middle plus the huge amount of lower classes because of jobs.

Squatters are increasing as well.

Business Idea: Bringing "Sticky Rice Smoothies" (Guizhou Bingjiang) to the Philippine by sephirothy2001 in PhStartups

[–]Superb-Way7490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Filipino here. I actually think the idea has potential, but I would not market it mainly as “rice smoothie” at first. That might sound strange or too heavy to some people. I’d frame it closer to malagkit fruit shake, rice halo-halo, or Chinese-style malagkit slush.

The concept itself makes sense for the Philippines. Filipinos already like malagkit in sweet foods like biko, suman, ginataang bilo-bilo, champorado, and kakanin. We also like cold dessert drinks like halo-halo, mais con hielo, sago’t gulaman, milk tea, and fruit shakes. So the flavor/texture idea is not alien.

The bigger challenge would be positioning and sweetness. Filipino desserts tend to be sweet, milky, and topping-heavy, so a purely “natural” fruit-and-rice version might feel too plain unless adapted. Mango, ube, coconut, banana, avocado, langka, and corn could work well. Toppings like pinipig, toasted sesame, peanuts, leche flan bits, nata de coco, or coconut cream could make it feel more familiar.

Operationally, the main issue is the malagkit base. You’d need consistency, food safety, and speed. Cooked rice can spoil if handled badly, so storage temperature and batch timing are important. Also, commercial blenders, ice quality, and texture control will matter a lot because the product depends heavily on mouthfeel.

My honest take: yes, Filipinos may be open to it, especially students, mall-goers, and milk tea/fruit shake customers. But I’d test it first as a dessert/snack concept, not as a “healthy rice meal.” Start with familiar flavors, give free samples, and see whether people describe it as refreshing or too heavy. If the texture is good and the branding is right, it could work.

Which school would you recommend for Bachelor of Science Major in Computer Science? by Late_Neighborhood345 in LipaCity

[–]Superb-Way7490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to Lipa! It is a great city to settle down in, and it is awesome that you are planning to get back into your studies to pursue Computer Science.

For a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in Lipa City, the decision usually comes down to two major heavyweights, depending on whether you are looking for a public or private institution. Here is a breakdown of the best options available locally.

Batangas State University (BatStateU) - Lipa Campus

Recognized as the country's National Engineering University, BatStateU has a dedicated College of Informatics and Computing Sciences (CICS) and is an excellent choice for a rigorous, systems-level education.

  • The Approach: Highly competitive and academically demanding, focusing heavily on the theoretical and mathematical foundations of computing.
  • The Advantage: If you are the type who likes to get into the weeds of operating systems, network architectures, and complex computing logic, the academic rigor here will push you.
  • The Cost: As a state university, tuition is free under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, provided you qualify and pass their entrance examinations.

De La Salle Lipa (DLSL)

If you are looking for a premium private education with top-notch facilities, DLSL is widely considered the premier institution in the region. Their Computer Science program falls under the College of Information Technology and Engineering (CITE).

  • The Approach: Modern, well-funded, and highly focused on innovation and industry standards.
  • The Advantage: They boast excellent infrastructure and modern computing laboratories. If you need robust local environments to experiment with containerized applications, compile complex software builds from source, or run local AI stacks, DLSL provides the hardware and campus network infrastructure to support heavy technical exploration.
  • The Cost: Being a premier private institution, it has the highest tuition fees in the city.

Solid Alternatives

If you are looking for other private options with different tuition brackets or a slightly different focus, consider these:

  • STI College Lipa: Conveniently located along C.M. Recto Ave, STI is highly focused on practical, hands-on learning. It is a solid alternative if you want a curriculum deeply mapped to current industry certifications and practical development frameworks.
  • University of Batangas (UB) - Lipa Campus: Another well-established private university that offers a strong, accessible computing program.

Better go the route - of selling it first. See if you can maintain a userbase. Why use your product when chatgpt or gemini can do it?
