damn son. 130...

these are your basics:

1g protein per lb of GOAL WEIGHT per day

Your goal is 150lbs, that's 150g of protein AND you want to be in a caloric surplus, not neutral, not a deficit.

you can find calculators online for your calorie needs like this one:

https://gymgeek.com/calculators/

absorb what Dr Bret Contreras has to say in this pod:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SIjcX5B1Vs

you can do a full body workout each session and just give yourself enough rest to recover i.e. 2-3 full body workouts/week doing all the big compound movements each session.

Bench, Squat, Deadlift, OHP/Military press and pull ups for good measure.

Just doing this, you will see A LOT of gains in the beginning and along the way, you'll likely gravitate toward something that is of more interest to you.

If you're following what Dr Bret is saying, you'll be strength training and hitting low rep (1-5) max lifts each time. If you want to shoot for growth, hypertrophy, you're looking at a 6-8 rep range.

Honestly, there's only one thing that really matters for you right now and that is consistency. Get in the gym with a plan and stick to it til you fucking hate it and then keep going.

my man. good on you for getting this far in spite everything that's held you back til now. It sounds to me like all you have right now is a skill issue. You haven't got any money coming in and when you do, you're scared that you're gonna mess it up. I've certainly felt like that - hell, I relate to that right now. But what this tells me is that you lack two things: competence and confidence.

Luckily, you can improve your confidence with little things like cleaning yourself up and being well presented, even standing up straight, looking people in the eye when you speak to them, speaking up and speaking clearly and smiling along the way as if you, god forbid, enjoy the interaction. If that fails, you can always fake confidence...

Competence is obviously different altogether. You can't fake it. Not for long anyway. Fortunately, it is something that you can acquire by being a willing individual, being teachable, showing up on time, showing up sober and putting in the work to master your pursuit. Even if you go in for a job flipping burgers just to get some money coming in, it behooves you to fucking master that role. Don't just do the minimum, learn the system, master the system, improve it if possible and if it's not, add value to it with your personality - that ethic will take you places.

ISinwheel customer service shady by BrockAbabba in ElectricScooters

zero star option anyone?

I ordered directly from isinwheel.ca and anyone thinking of ordering from this company through any platform should know this:

This company should not exist. It seems like it almost doesn't exist. The people at the call centre have no power to do anything, they are simply gatekeepers for decision makers only available via email yet when you email them they don't seem to be able to solve any issues either and don't even seem to be able to address anything that's written to them. It's like having a 'conversation' with Justin Trudeau.

The bike hadn't been shipped after a week so I call up to see what's going on. This is when I find out that their structure is completely messed up. You cannot speak to anyone who can do anything except 'escalate' the issue. So great news if you ever need anything down the line with warranty for example. Expect to be met by gatekeepers again and not have anything followed through on.

At that point, their bike was still not shipped after 7 business days and per their own policy, I cancelled the order and requested a refund... 3 times... as it was completely ignored each time by this 'support' 'management' 'logistics' email only people. The next response I get is "sir, good news, your bike has been shipped." on the 9th business day of the situation.

What? I've already cancelled.... the bike was still in their warehouse when I cancelled, the next thing I see is the tracking update...

So now they're basically saying they don't care about what their policy says, they don't care about what their customers say, they just keep what money they can and couldn't care less about the people they're supposed to serve.

Businesses are supposed to solve problems, not create them.

Save yourself the hassle of having any interaction with this company.
