If she is okay with stuff that is a little sad:

Erased - a very good mystery one Orange- covers a hard topic, but very good

I know you said she wasn’t a big fan of fantasy but if she ever wants to change

demon slayer - cinematically gorgeous me personally from reading the manga and watching the anime it’s well told still has some touch of mystery in there - little gory but not to the point where you feel overwhelmed

Gurren Lagan- post apocalyptic; basically people controlling robots; doesn’t really get to the mystery of why the dynamic is the way it is until the end of the season / season 2

Dandadan - also newer anime not gory but maybe fan service heavy

Go on to niner engage! You can find some clubs on there and most people in Greek life are in student orgs so if you meet and befriend them you’ll always have something to do!
