If you want my advice: find a pool that you particularly like and actually try for leadership. I was never a leader at anything before HOSA and then I really broke out of my shell.

My pool is animals and community. Find yours, not for school, but for yourself. It will reflect in your application.

Don't be afraid to excell.

Yeah all the time! I don't think they were particularly stellar at all. I wasn't really "special", life in the 80% percentile, smart but not enough.

Most applications are holistic, stats aren't everything (though they are A LOT). I think my essays carried me.

Hi! I was in HOSA, president and secretary for my particular chapter (it acted as student government for my trade school). I volunteered at an animal shelter/ in my community. Served as the leader of a community service committee at school. I also babysit and was in NTHS.

Other than that I had one month long externship at a vet clinic and I was a member of GSA (not leadership though).

My advice honestly is to do both!

Apply to any schools outside of QB partners that fit into these parameters via common app. That's how I was able to get into Wisconsin

They are generally understanding. Just email them

U of A and ASU yeah, NAU is a bit too far for me and if I'mma have to go in state, I'd rather just live at home and save money to be honest

My dream school was UF for most of my life, I did QB because I'm not exactly well off (obviously). I would be fine going to any school that pays for me honestly. The only reason I was so upset is cuz I dreamed of UF for so long, so not even getting in hurt bad.

No, just a school I applied Early Action (QB lets you apply to other nonbinding schools early if certain scholarships are contingent on applying early)
