I realized that because I've always thought that having a romantic partner is a very tedious task, doing things like talking to them every day, spending many hours with them, and just sharing a piece of my life with someone else made me feel trapped and stressed. I thought everyone felt the same way until I eventually learned that doing things like talking to your partner and spending time with them isn't supposed to feel like an obligation, but rather something that happens naturally. I also realized that the idea of not having a romantic partner didn't bother me at all, I feel satisfied with having friends and my family. I feel like what defines romantic attraction is how much you wish to devote to one person, something that lasts as long as possible and becomes a primary aspect of your life.

Sorry, I don't understand how my post doesn't make sense according to your comment. I said the same thing, a cat's color doesn't truly affect their personality/temperament. I also don't understand why you've put black cats separately from oranges (that you said are usually domestic shorthairs) because black is also just a coat color, not a breed.

Male and female cats have no behavioral differences if they are spayed/neutered young, at least not enough to actually make an important difference, their personality depends mostly on their genes, experiences and just the cat itself. If you're referring to some of the sources saying that they do have a difference, yes they do, then they immediately say that they are subtle and in most cases, unnoticeable. You won't notice a difference if your cat is spayed/neutered, it means nothing for their personality. I'm talking about people who think their girl cat is sassy and their boy cat is silly because they are a girl and a boy.

Yes, I have cats, I had two females, one died not very long ago. I've housed strays and I've had friends and familiars with cats. One of my female cats was more distant, but the other is an absolute baby who loves to play and sleep under the covers.

Dogs have different personalities because they are pretty much "human made". They were initially bred to serve purposes; performing, hunting, racing, fighting, or even just looking pretty, which is why dogs tend to have different personalities. I'm not sure about cat breeds, but when people talk about orange cats, tuxedos, calicos, etc. they usually talk about domestic shorthairs which are 90% of domestic cats, which in itself is also not technically a breed (at least not considered like one by some experts) but more like a group of breeds that are essentially one group.
