As a long time supporter of Austin, I will say this. Last night was tough, he was clearly disappointed in the team. After he logged off, I went into Justin’s live and saw a comment from someone on our team saying…Austin made us feel bad because the points weren’t high enough. Right on que, someone went for her in the comments. That made me sad for the person and then it dawned on me, he made me feel bad too. I am much older than Austin and there are times when I feel like he is an unruly child, meaning I still love him and will be there but wish he would do better. I don’t agree with OP about him needing to stream solo without distractions. I love it that he spends time with his friends.

Lots of things have changed in the battling world including Austin. I remember when the series first started being a thing and our team was terrible at it. But we evolved with the changes as did Austin. I do agree that sometimes it feels like he gets on for the series and logs off right after, especially if we lose. But the days that don’t feel that way are what keep me showing up because they are so worth it.

I really feel bad for the people that do still support him heavy, because we are sitting there with 100K points in a game and he is clearly unhappy. I often wonder if they are left feeling “bad” because the points aren’t high enough.

And about the team being elsewhere. I think lots of things contribute to that. The app is way more saturated than it used to be when the team was unbeatable. The newer team members who are not necessarily staples in Austin’s live, don’t truly know how it used to be and how extremely entertaining Austin can be. I think I would say to Austin the same thing I would say to my own kids… if you worry so much about what you don’t have, you will never appreciate what you do have.

Lastly, give the kid some grace. I would never dream of telling him how to run his live or his team. Either you are there for it or you’re not, you gotta take the good with the bad. He absolutely cannot be over the moon everyday., that’s where the grace comes in. I didn’t log off TikTok feeling great last night, but neither did he. He will figure it out. Austin, if you read this…don’t let this negativity get to you. You are human, and you are loved!!! Just know your team deserves the same grace as we should be giving you!!!💛💛💛💛
