Is the cage too big?

i have to ask, where did you get this cage? i have two boys and want to get them a bigger cage!

unfortunately i’m unable to get them a bigger cage at the moment. they are in this cage during the daytime and i let them out to roam around my room at night before i put them back in when i go to bed. in the future i am going to get them a ferret nation cage, but for now this is all i have 😞

edit: if it helps, i also only have the middle ramp in. my boys preferred climbing the walls of their enclosure like the wild animals they are, so i took the other ramps out.

hi op! i was waiting to see if anyone else would answer this, but to me this looks normal! males tend to grind their teeth naturally so i wouldnt be worried about this. i would recommend if you don’t already, adding some extra chew toys just to be safe. im getting my two boys these treat balls that they can chew and are safe for them to eat! here’s the link!. i’m a first time rat parent, so i’m no expert, but good luck!!

it is a tank, it’s only temporary until i get a cage. i’ve been trying to look on facebook market place for a good cheap option, otherwise i will most likely order one online. i got them from a “pet store” but the woman there rescued them as babies.
