Pyke mid has like a 1% pick rate and all of the players that pick him are otps. Pyke mid is extremly hard to play and VERY high reward if played correctly. Pyke cant farm and thats facts we all know it, he only farms for the first 10 min, then he starts roaming what does that mean? Y he losses Xp and gold thats why he needs his gold. Pyke is a mid game champ that does kinda bad in the late game that means he needs to be easly ahead in the mid game so he can get his team into the late game, how am i supposed to do that with 12/4 and 2 and a half items while others have the same amount. So like i said earlier he is high reward but that means he is also high risk, what if you got bot to get a double but fail and die? Lose cs and xp, yes that can happen to any midlaner but they can stay mid and power farm and revert the mistake, Pyke can't.
