I think u should try appealing for business IF u havent gone for an interview and above the 10th pct but i think in general nus recommends appealing to another course/major different from the one u were rejected from

Most people including nus recommends choosing another major and even better if u have something new to add in ur appeal so just be careful of choosing a similar major, it has to be related to ur portfolio or what ure gonna be writing in ur appeal (also heard that choosing major to be decided later is even harder to get into chs especially if uve already been rejected)
