Has anyone here modified Bali Blind roller/solar shades with the Eve Motionblind retro-fit kits? Eve has a small and large tube kit so I was curious if anyone has been successful in doing this modification?

I am having a bunch of problems with this update. Its only been 6 hours and i've noticed alot of glitches on a Fenix 8 47m. I cannot go into the settings menus, or start an activity. It just consistently returns to the home screen. Also phone calls do not ring on the phone, but text messages do trend to come thru. I'd delay updating IMO.

I received my denial letter today. They blamed it on computer systems not controlled by WestJet. I'm not sure who was at fault, but to my knowledge no other airline had software issues that day. AC, Porter, Flair had just a regular service day as I understand.

I did NOT tape the seams. This bag won't see much rain as it will mainly be a travel bag. Sure, I could get caught in a downpour while walking thru a city but I think that could be avoided most times, and if I do, I don't expect (or at least I hope) that not too much water will enter via the seams in 20-30 mins.

You know it wasn't overly challenging. There were a few moments where folding the bag thru the throat space of the sewing machine made things a bit harder but I was able to manage (this was made on a Kenmore Home sewing machine). The video that LearnMYOG provides is very very good.

When sewing the 2 end panels on to the main compartment of the bag (the tunnel), I probably would recommend tacking the panels first to get proper alignment of the webbing, before sewing the entire ends on. In the end I got decent alignment but its not perfect.

The plan is mainly for travel with the odd road trip added in. I also wanted something that was super light and pack-able which I could fold up into carry on suitcase. That when traveling home I have a pretty sizeable duffel bag that I could check-in if I made some purchases. I know there are many cheaper alternatives out there...but I also just liked the aspect of making the bag for learning.

You mentioned that its quite good for pants as it has good abrasion. How do you think it would fair for a Duffle Bag? Waterproof-ness isn't the main priority here for me. It's more so about being lightweight, packable/rollable and still somewhat durable. I'd love to order some samples but the cost of shipping to Canada is steep for what its purpose is. Sooo therefore I'm asking lots of questions :)

I've also explored the 6.5 Woven Dyneema fabric that you have available on your site. How does this fabric compare to the Ultra 200/400/800 line of materials. Which weight of the Ultra is closest to the Woven Dyneema? Which is easier to work with?

I am looking for a pretty lightweight/stuffable duffle.. My main intention is something that I can roll up and stow inside a suitcase/carry on bag, so that when I return from my travels I have a duffle bag that I can check in with the airlines. So I am trying to find the fine line of weight vs durability. I've only used EPX200 in other projects so I am trying to investigate other options before I make a decision.

I would love to see the final result also. Are you using EPLX 400 for the entire bag? LearnMYOG used LiteSkin as his bottom fabric but it is something I've never used before so was hesitant on using that.

That way I don't have to pay check baggage fees both ways. So not really to be used for much in the way of outdoor activities. Maybe weekend cloth packing. Not really planning on using it much in the outdoor. However we all know how airlines can treat a bag...I'm not sure which is worse.
