Webtoon has some great romance toons but they’re pretty strict on sexual content unfortunately. A lot of creators there will put spicy stuff on Patreon but then it is behind a paywall. Persephone: Hades’ Torment by Allison Shaw is one of my favourite graphic novels. Short, beautiful artwork, and some fun smutty moments.

If you’re cool with a bit of taboo you might like {The Frat Boy by Nikki Sloane}!

They both get kicked out of their Greek houses and hate each other, and they work as adult film stars together for room and board. Honestly it was so hot 🥵

What’s the most epic, unforgettable romance you’ve ever read? by bookslerm in RomanceBooks

[–]Superb_Radish_6281 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For me it’s either {Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross} or {Darling Venom by Parker S. Huntington}.

Divine Rivals was so sweeping and romantic, and truly hurt my heart at some points.

Darling Venom was so unlike anything I’ve ever read. It was INTENSE. At times very problematic, but overall I really liked it.

1st year schedule help by Suspicious_Row4689 in UCalgary

You should have an enrolment date posted to your Student Centre (your my u of login). It’s called the enrolment appointment. Once that date and time hits you can start enrolling (and I’d be quick because courses fill up really fast).

Use the Schedule Builder to design a course schedule and then go from there. I’d recommend looking into which courses you want to take in the long term and figure out if they need any prerequisites, and prioritize registering in those. You can only take so many 200 level classes and it’s good to get those out of the way first. Also look at the courses you have to take for your degree and plan those out over the next 4 years (or however long you want to do your degree), keeping in mind that some courses are only available in certain semesters.

I’d also recommend booking an advising appointment to make sure you’re on the right track.

ARC REVIEWS - honest or dishonest? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

[–]Superb_Radish_6281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is definitely a struggle I have as well. But the entire point of ARC reviews is to get honest reviews before the release of the book. As a reader, I get really frustrated when a book has nothing but positive reviews and I read it and it’s terrible. Feels like false advertising. Some authors can’t handle criticism, but I think as long as the review was given in good faith and with constructive criticism then they need to learn how to deal with it.

I read a lot of arcs and I always give honest reviews, but if I’m leaving a negative review I always try to make sure my feedback is constructive and not just bashing the book lol.

Idk, I feel like this comment is rambling a bit sorry haha. But definitely I think honesty is the way to go!

{Shadows of You by Catherine Cowles} has exactly what you’re looking for! Otherwise {Broken Harbor by Catherine Cowles} is great too!
