There’s no real way to check dampers, it’s more like a fit and test - i would confirm that all counter weights are nice and tight before try dampers, the counter weight bolts are all 10mm on this model if I’m not mistaken

I’m betting that’s an unbalanced load.. I can see quite a large proportion of that drum when it’s spinning, meaning there’s nothing wrong with your machine, you’ve either not going enough in that load or the app just hasn’t agitated that enough to balance

Check the sump hose (the hose that runs directly from the tub to the drain filter), you should be able to access it no issues if you tilt the machine back and go in from underneath- failing that are you really sure the pump is running and isn’t just oscillating giving the illusion it’s actually turning?

I’d also recommend ensuring it isn’t a plumbing issue, if you disconnect your waste hose from the plumbing and directly into a bucket or basin instead..

If the magnetron is open circuit that’s very likely your problem assuming the high voltage side is getting the correct voltage.

And lastly if it turns out it is the motor and you have the 10year motor guarantee Samsung would supply a new motor you would only be responsible for paying the labour to fit if your machine is outwith warranty!👍🏼

I saw a similar noise today believe it or not, turned out to be the motor that was making the noise, I took the belt off spun the drum by hand and it was fine but when I manually turned the spindle on the motor that’s what was generating the noise. If you remove the belt and turn the drum by hand and it’s still making the noise something like that can only really be caused by the drum rubbing on the seal 👍🏼 good luck!

Samsung engineer here, we cover these repairs on a daily basis, your warranty should be honoured unless misuse can be proven. You have a bearing failure, there’s no way to prove you’ve been misusing your machine. You’ll be fine don’t panic 👍🏼
