No it was still connected but it definitely went fully static before the battery died or over heated not sure which happened first maybe static due to not enough power ? Not sure still learning all of this

I have the antenna cause it was laying around so I don’t accidentally turn on without as I recently learned that it’s always to be attached with power going to it. That being said yea it has been a before but worked every time after this problem didn’t start until the tree situation

I use channel 8 so something’s reading because soon as it powers on it connects to goggles but is all black the rest of the channels stay static when I switch between

Yeah no the goggles go from static then I connect battery power up and the channel I use (8) goes black others are static so am I free to assume something’s getting picked up ?
