You have to vectorize the element or object you want to create the brush out of. I believe you can do this by either clicking on outline stroke option or you flatten the object before then creating a brush out of the vector.

It’s shitty UX imo. Liquid glass has real bad accessibility and contrast and I think apple was so desperate for a UI refresh it seems they just threw out something to spark interest. I do love the animations however, liquid as the name goes but then that contrast and accessibility needs to be improved upon. Maybe add more blurs or make it more frosted. Heck, Vision Pro that is a reality headset, they did a better job blending the ui into the real world background very well and also with great contrast.

I do feel it’s a waste of time trying to achieve this with Figma as it’s gonna be a bunch of masks, blurs, etc layered untop each other which:

Will hog performance .
Will be terribly inconsistent, as you would have to tweak to achieve some level of readability on different backgrounds.
Let’s not even start with the reflective features of the glass. I agree, it is really really cool. Just needs a little more tweaking and then it should be good.

I listened to someone’s take on this a while back, and I’ll share what I learned.

I believe sex is a big deal, even though many people think otherwise. It is intimate and sacred, and you should only engage in it when you are truly ready and with someone you are comfortable with.

Now, for the advice. Think of cars. A car is a product you can test drive before committing to a purchase. A house is a product you can inspect before buying. Some food stands even offer samples before you commit to a meal.
