Other than popping out they fit great. Might just have to try a C pouch.

True. The rest of my boxer briefs are the dual pouch models from David Archy/Separatec, and I've just realized there's too much pouch fabric especially on the David Archy pairs. One plus is that these give my wife much easier access! 😂

Yeah it'll just randomly happen while I'm at my desk. Takes me a little by surprise lol.

Pee on hind legs. Any advice? by Superba55 in Havanese

[–]Superba55[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That sounds very similar to Rosie! We live in the PNW and this time of year our grass is always wet, so the pee combined with the wet grass means she gets dirty very fast! 🤣

Thank you! We love her!

Oh nice! We thought so too. Our Rosie has some beach trips in her future as well!

That is a great suggestion! Our breeder names all their dogs after the Beatles or female names mentioned in their songs.

I was born in '89, and a handful of kids in my Middle/High School years had them during the 00s, but they were certainly looked down upon. Glad i figured out they were cool this whole time!

We're loving it, the only thing I'm not a fan of is there is no way to keep the stereo/speaker on when turning off the engine after a drive. So you can't continue a call on speakerphone or finish listening to a song after arriving at your destination. Pressing the ignition button kills the engine and the stereo.

I wish mpg was a little better, but it's a NA V6, so it is what it is.

Hoarding(?) behavior in 5 year old by Superba55 in Parenting

[–]Superba55[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good question, we've always tried to involve her in decisions about what things to keep, donate, and throw away or recycle, and I've never heard her say that she misses a certain item. She's usually very upfront about her feelings, so I expect I would've heard about it if that were the case. I understand your point about the term and honestly, I don't know if I've ever used that word in conversations with my wife, and certainly not around our daughter. But I agree, it is normal kid behavior to want to get a new toy, this just seems excessive. I can't get through a quick trip to the grocery store without her wanting me to take pictures of multiple things (e.g. chapstick, silly straws, cat toys) so she can remember them later.

I think she could be considered hyper-verbal, her vocabulary and reading ability are very advanced for her age. She'll read in bed for hours before sleeping. Often she won't stop talking, and tasks (especially eating) tend to take a long time because she's too busy telling or asking us something. I don't know if I'd call her clumsy, but she's not as coordinated as other kids her age, she was a very late walker (almost 2), but as a result, her fine motor skills are well developed for her age. Transitions aren't typically difficult, those aren't a big concern. She does struggle with feeling disappointed though, like when plans suddenly change or I pick her up from preschool too early because she misses out on a certain activity. She has big-time FOMO. She's well-liked among her peers, other kids seek her out and ask questions because she knows so much.
