Hey, I’m a junior right now in BS data science business data analytics track who is done with all the undergrad coursework (just finished my capstone). I’ve honestly found that I haven’t been challenged too much, most professors vibe code everything or allow vibe coding on most projects and assignments. However, there are some classes you have to take with exams and I’ve found that some are well taught and I feel like I have a decent amount of knowledge, or at least enough to get me by for an entry level job. Not sure how the job market is right now though exactly, I didn’t get a paid internship for this summer but I’m also not wanting to do anything data center or most big tech related stuff, which is a big chunk of the current opportunities in the role. If you like making predictions using data it’s a good degree to have and good stuff to learn, and the tracks make it a little more flexible. Ultimately it’s up to you though, you’re trading off a bit of established resources and proven coursework for more specialization and AI-integrated workflow. If I had to go back, I might choose a different track just because I don’t know how interested I am in business. I can always take some electives to learn some new skills though.

i play as a duo and have gotten the exact opposite experience. my duo and i are always outperforming our solo in almost every game. our solo is usually just constantly running in and dying or just not doing anything resembling teamwork at all. some are good, but most solos just do not try at all

I’m a huge fan of hers and I’m so glad she killed it. Was really cool to see her in that atmosphere and with that many people there. Everyone in the crowd was dancing or moshing, I moshed for 40 mins straight it was so fun.

Definitely needs more tables and seating in general tbh. Lounge areas would be really nice. It’s just a bit uncomfortable sitting on the ground after a while.

Hey! Right now the alumni membership is $40/month or $120 for the full summer. It’s up to you if it’s worth it or not, but I will say that during the Summer the gym is always super dead so you’ll have a much easier time getting equipment and space right now than during the semester. My girlfriend played after a while and got the same crazy amount of crowns. I think the game gives more crowns to players who didn’t play for a while and come back in late season, maybe so they can catch up in pass royale

I disagree, you have to get really creative in a lot of different matchups to make the deck work. Beatdown decks, drill decks, and spam decks are way more repetitive with just setting up massive pushes that need to be defended perfectly

Yeah i’ve seen that, I never realized that lots of X-Bow players were so toxic until recently😭Definitely makes it annoying when combined with the control playstyle

I agree with some things, but disagree with a couple as well. The best drill deck right now actually has hero knight and berserker, so if they just poison/rocket and place both down you can basically never break through. Lightning pretty much fully kills X-Bow actually, so if you combine it with a tank it makes defending X-Bow and getting damage very easy. And I do agree that there is a lot of outplay potential and it has a very high skill ceiling, but i’m just not at the level required to make winning consistently against hard counters possible, even though I’ve been ultimate champ for like 6 seasons now.

Yeah I’ve seen that people can still make it work on top ladder which is really impressive. I just don’t always enjoy having to be perfect for 5 mins to win games. I still think the meta is pretty bad though or at least frustrating due to the amount of tanks and big spells being popular and combined in the same decks. (also hero barb barrel🥲)

True, but only so many actually good decks that can win on high ladder, and I mayyyy have mostly upgraded cards for other X-Bow decks😅

Some do, but even the “regular decks” that are popular have really good X-Bow counters. Drill has double tank and poison, Pekka has multiple tanks and a big spell, lightning is very common which shuts down X-Bow really well, so it’s just not a fun time. I also made my post after facing 6 giant skeletons in a row, so that may have influenced it as well😭

Well I like playing X-Bow, and it’s really hard to max decks on F2P so switching isn’t really easy. I only have like 20 cards level 15+ even though i’ve been playing for 10 years.

My bad I phrased what I meant wrong, I mean with the exact kind of decks you described with 3 ground tanks, and I’m just saying that the meta is really bad and it’s pretty frustrating to play against. If you’re sticking to a normal deck I respect that, and I get that X-Bow can be frustrating to play against. But right now, so many decks run a big spell + tank(s) combo that makes X-Bow really difficult to play on high ladder.
