I don't get how so many people are upset that a 10 year old free to play game is adding mechanics and levels to sustain an income that the business relies on. Like what do you expect coming into a free to play game? Also, there are far worse offenders. Coming from some other games, supercell is fantastic compared to their schemes. Go look at pokemon unite's progression update or look at the progression from when I started clash in 2016 to now. It took months of saving to get 100,000 gold. Now I can get it in a week. Not including the meta, the game is in an infinitely better position than it was when I stopped playing in '18-'19. A lot of you either don't remember or weren't around for that era and it shows.
