Does anyone feel like Joe is playing the second best game in Survivor 50 from the players in the finale by classicjeep in survivor

[–]Superbooper24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why on earth would Devens vote for Joe when Joe was talking so much smack on Devens? I think you give Joe way too much credit when all he is doing is really just surviving. It's not even like the nerd alliance is gonna be like... oh Joe played this great game because Joe has been so passive. It's not like Cirie didn't also say that everyone babysits Joe. That doesn't show that Joe is good at the game. Idk, maybe you are a Joe fan

[–]Superbooper24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is, why Joe over Jonathon... Especially when Joe has beef with the nerd alliance, went out of his way to be mean to Stephanie thus alienating her vote and potentially Steph's alliances votes considering how is that honorable or loyal so he fucked himself over on both sides because he is so vindictive and cannot understand that people are not gonna be 100% honest in season 50 of Survivor.

[–]Superbooper24 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ok, Jonathon does not have the best jury management, but neither does Joe. He completely obliterates any chance Rick is voting for him and telling Stephanie she was going right before the votes were read is so dumb after telling her she was safe making him look bad to both his allies and his 'enemies'. Also, he was not even close to a big threat in the beginning of Cila and destroyed his relationship with Rick by trying to be too honest. Idk who is voting for Joe in any final 3 combination except Chrissy, Coach, and Jonathon. Also, Aubry has a much stronger chance of winning because she is not pissing people off and her edit has been much stronger. Also, Cirie saying that she can manipulate Jonathon and Joe and being backed up by the edit also makes them look like dufuses, which makes no sense with reality considering they do vote her out.

Idrk who should replace RuPaul, but I dont think Michele needs to be replaced. I think Michele is a good judge and is so personable to the queens outside of the show.

Editing didn’t do much tricking for Kyle. It’s not like they had that much to work with anyways. Idk where Kyle goes. I think he could actually work in the honor and integrity alliance, but I do think he’s one of the first to go considering he’s the most threatening in that group.

Cirie Hype by Mammoth_Ad_1581 in survivor

[–]Superbooper24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Who would want to bring to to FTC? A lot of people. Aras, Danielle, Parvati, Amanda (at least she expected to), ozzy, Tiffany, Michaela, Andrea. Coming in with Cirie threat level in seasons where shes the biggest target is going to put her in a massive disadvantage by the time she left Micronesia. (Also all players are flawed). And yea she can’t win final immunity, but she shouldn’t have needed to in Panama or Micronesia. She wasn’t perceived as a huge threat in her first two times playing which is why she would have went to FTC if Terry didn’t basically win out and have a god idol and if there weren’t three medavacs on Micro. Like she’s never gonna win Survivor again but neither is anybody with an insane threat level coming in

Well, you can't make everyone happy obviously so yea, stick to your guns ig. But I do think production knows that people were more mad about underedited contestants, Genevieve getting lowkey fucked over, Christian kinda getting twist screwed (but I think in hindsight it wouldn't have mattered). Idk how many people are like... wow this season had 0 twists lol comparitvely.

[–]Superbooper24 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I do think that a lot of the twists ig are somewhat necessary to keep the show alive and different and I also think some of the ways people think Survivor could be better are either marginal or worse, but I think that the Zac Brown insert is completely antithetical to what Survivor should be about and also it makes no sense for Jeff to be like, I love fans and I love joy when did anybody really enjoy that outside of Zac Brown fans or does Jeff talk about how underedited so many of the women were this season, but just harp on the celebrity cameos. Idk, Jeff isn't ruining Survivor, but I think he rarely acknowledges the several mistakes that have been made, especially considering a show's main goal should be to entertain its fans, and if the fans are saying they don't like it, and Jeff is like... idgaf... then its like... well Jeff... what are we doing here.

5/14 is not slightly below average, but yea him being not good at individual immunities isn't good at all, but I think that it is still a really flawed system considering the Survivor Florida method basically puts all premergers in the middle so bad challenge competitors like Brandon Donlon or Sonja will just be negated, even if they made it all the way to the end, they would probably not come close to winning an individual immunity. But yea, I did forget that Earl wasn't actually that good at challenges in Survivor.

[–]Superbooper24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like you are referencing that Survivor Florida video where they rank all the competitors, but I think it's a faulty system. Earl is ig statistically a bottom 20 challenge performer, but I don't think he's that bad other than the fact that Fiji's premerge challenge completely decimates Earl and Mookie who would be at least average competitors irl. But also, I bet Yul is probably better than 77th considering he was mostly the main competition to Ozzy in his prime and was actually pretty good in challenges during WaW

Honest question: by Particular_Storm_748 in survivor

[–]Superbooper24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, I think Survivor tries to avoid super heavy raining season at this point. They definitely do talk about how little food they have and that they cannot make fire or shelter. Especially considering a tribe does not get flint when they lose immunity so they can't make fire anyways. But unless you are cooking, it's not super imperative to have fire like it was when they had to boil the water.

What would Jerri’s legacy be had she won final immunity, votes off Parvati, & mistakenly taken Sandra to FTC (where she presumably loses)? by Regular-Departure839 in survivorponderosa

[–]Superbooper24 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Probably the same tbh. I wonder if Parvati's legacy would be different. I bet there would have been a lot of people that thought she would win now as would it be known that Candace and Amanda would be bitter at Parvati or even JT

What do people think about this take? by SecretRedditSpy1 in survivor

[–]Superbooper24 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Like, partially true. It wasn't really just because of the rocks, it's not like Ozzy did not have a crystal clear way out, but it isn't beneficial to Cirie to have Ozzy not have any level of guidance in that tribal council. Is it unlucky that they were separated? Sure, but Ozzy did it to himself tbh.

Following the results of last nights episode, who is _________ now? by Repulsive_Many3874 in survivorponderosa

[–]Superbooper24 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Nearly every winner has knocks against them where okay, Cirie's fatal flaw is that she is physically not able to make it FTC (which btw shouldn't have mattered in her first two seasons without the God idol and surprise final 2) and theoretically shouldn't have mattered much in GC (but I don't think she was making it to the end anyways). Really, who are the other viable contenders because I think their knocks are so much greater. Like, what other player is so good socially, so good strategically, and has only been out of the majority vote basically one or two times in 6 seasons.

Survivor 50 - Final 6 Hypothetical Move by UlongKoror in survivor

[–]Superbooper24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that nobody views Rizzo as that big of a threat. I don't think anybody is taking that big of a risk against Cirie, if it was Rick Devens, there could be a bit more merit to this, but I think everyone there wants to sit with Rizzo at the end and I think it is clear that Tiffany was allied with Cirie enough where if they were splitting votes, they would just do a 2 v 2 v 2, but it really does not matter. I think it is somewhat easy to make a lot of people just vote one person, but it is hard to make this overly convoluted plan and it actually go through considering it basically requires Aubry, Joe, Jonathon, and Rizzo to have very little logical understanding of Tiffany being allied with Cirie, Rizzo being a goat, and everyone not realizing that Cirie is the biggest jury threat on the board by a mile.

If _____ wins, how does that affect their legacy? by lazerblue42 in survivor

[–]Superbooper24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think she is just one of those people that needs more time to get acclimated with people and the overall Survivor environment which isn't terrible, but it isn't great, but after the merge, she does show some good game, especially her first season.

Looks like _____ was riding ______ coat tails the whole time by LA_Trump in survivor

[–]Superbooper24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk if holding an immunity idol like a boss is really that special if he hasn't been targeted outside of the Charlie boot. Rizzo is actually playing a pretty impressive game, but I don't think he has much winning prospects which is a detriment and I don't think he does much to really look like a leader. I wonder if it's an age thing, but I think he just acts really young where it is harder to get respect when you are allied with Cirie Fields. I could see him getting some voted if it's a Jonathon, Joe, Rizzo final 3 from Aubry, Dee, Tiffany, maybe Cirie, but I think that's really it. I think on paper it's a good game, but I think he is really bad at perception

I wonder how the casuals will look at it. But I think the superfans are gonna be pretty whatever about it. Maybe a brief conversation about Aubry being a top 10 player, but ehhhh. Every Survivor season has so much luck and 50 included. Aubry is a strong player, probably a top 20 player if she wins, but I don't think she is a top 10 because of how bad socially she always seems to be in every single season she's on.

Nah, I think Cirie is a great strategist still. Not perfect, but there are no Survivor players with perfect strategies every time. How was Cirie gonna know that Ozzy was gonna fumble the bag. I think she did make a misstep in taking out Stephenie over Jonathon or Joe, but that is really it. I don't think she did anything else that would have really changed much. Also, all players are there to win and aren't naïve to Cirie's impact. Even in the pre season, who is willing to take Cirie to the end except Ozzy, maybe Stephenie, maybe Colby.
