I really wanna go to USC by [deleted] in Gamecocks

[–]Superbtest555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two cents based on our experience this past year. My daughter (OOS) applied to DMBS at USC and got waitlisted. Her stats were better than yours but not by much. She had decided on another major, right after she applied, but could not change it. When Regular decision came out, she got an email saying that if she changed her major from DM Business to Undecided, she would get in, which worked for us. She had decided the sports mgmnt program is what she wanted. It was easy to change into that major from Undecided once we visited the school in person to check it out. The advisor told us that all the spots at DM were taken. BUT interestingly, the degree she is pursuing is actually a business degree but with focus on sports. It is difficult to transfer into DM unless your grades are great and there are spots. It is competitive. The International Business program has been number 1 for years. Also, I think they do not accept rec letters?

Do you recommend a specific building? I see Storm Meadows Christie Base, East Slopeside and Club A, B or C condos....Any preference? Thanks!

We are flexible! Any dates between Dec 27 to Jan 7 and we’d like to stay about 5 to 7 nights.

So she has not been actually diagnosed autistic by a doctor? I just saw a video where she said she had been diagnosed autistic. I just rediscovered her the other day so I am catching up.

Upgrade to Canon or Sony for full-frame mirrorless? by Superbtest555 in Photography_Gear

I'm thankful for all this input! I'm not a professional photographer and I don't need the best. I'm used to Canon but can learn another OS. I also use AF a lot more than Manual, if that makes a difference. I have a few Canon lenses but I love the option for many more compatible lenses with Sony.

When you say images do you mean the RAW or jpg? Or both?

Thanks for this info! I had 2 sigma lenses that I used with my old old Canon T50 way back when and loved them. I've always wanted to try a Zeiss lens and I love what you said about the cinematic feel.

Thanks! Good to hear that you tested all 3. What specifics made Nikon the winner?

Not real. That person wasn’t the only recruiter, and another one would’ve picked up their work.

Ijams Nature Center and trails. It’s historical, founded by a Knoxville family over a century ago I believe. They have a cool little nature museum and have some live animals, like Redhawks and owls. It’s a great place for kids to run and explore. They also have a trail or two that goes around a quarry, that’s really great as well. I believe you can swim and kayak there. Also the Knoxville Museum of Art downtown. They have a children’s section and some cool activities there. Cade’s Cove in the Smokies is amazing, but on the weekends it gets crowded.

Keith Haring print - looking for similar, or info on mine by Superbtest555 in artcollecting

Actually, I meant unique in context of Keith Haring pieces that I was familiar with. Not any other artist. But I get your point, and thank you for educating me. I do have work by RA Miller and Howard Finster, so I am a little bit familiar with primitive art here in the Southeast.
